26/01/2025: We booked a table here off the back of good reviews, for a Saturday evening when visiting Paris with my wife. The restaurant excelled our expectations and was exactly what we had been hoping for, a true French experience in a beautiful setting and atmosphere. The service was first class and food cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone and if we return to Paris we will definitely be back!

You can't go wrong, everything is very good and last night the "Duck foie gras and mango, roasted with ginger, Vouvray with spicy pineapple infusion, lime and vanilla" was incredible. Gentle and smiling service. Quick, quick, come back and enjoy this exceptional restaurant in the heart of Île Saint-Louis.

28/09/2024: Last night we had dinner at this delightful restaurant. Small and welcoming, the very kind owner found us a secluded table where we could sit peacefully with the dog and the child. We arrived a little late, the kitchen closes around 9.30pm but we didn't have any problems. To start we had onion soup, fois gras and snails. Next, we had the grilled beef rump (with baked potatoes, green beans and pepper sauce) and the chicken cooked in chestnut sauce (with green beans and mashed potatoes). Everything exceptional, generous portions. I highly recommend!

24/09/2024: Top atmosphere and meal worthy of a Parisian evening. I was alone passing through Paris and I wanted a nice, intimate bistro with a classic Parisian meal. I was not disappointed. Kir Royal, semi-cooked foie gras, frog legs. Everything was perfect. The staff were all attentive and very kind. I highly recommend.

21/08/2024: Locale piccolo, ma molto carino in zona Notre Dame con possibilità di mangiare all'aperto. Assaggiato pietanze locali molto buone e finalmente al giusto prezzo! Personale simpatico cortese e disponibile!!

25/11/2024: Un restaurant agréable, confortable, idéalement situé sur l'île Saint-Louis, tout près de Notre-Dame. Je recommande de venir tôt le matin pour le petit-déjeuner ; on y profite autant du calme des lieux que de la formule petit-déjeuner à 9,50 euros, des plus honnêtes. Le service est toujours très avenant et professionnel. Tant pour prendre un café que déjeuner (la cuisine est très bonne) ou boire un verre et terrasse, c'est un très bel endroit qui vaut le détour.

14/11/2024: Almorzamos aquí durante una corta estancia en París. No podríamos haber elegido mejor. La comida aquí es sensacional. Mi esposa y yo elegimos platos simples y ligeros, yo tenía una tortilla y ella tenía un plato de pollo, pero ambos eran totalmente deliciosos y cocinados a la perfección. La ubicación es estupenda, justo al lado de Notre Dame y el personal es fantástico, muy trabajador, muy amable y eficiente y realmente parecen disfrutar de lo que hacen. No puedo esperar a volver y comer aquí de nuevo.

27/01/2025: I ate strawberries and chocolate and they were delicious. If you like thick chocolate, this is a great taste. The strawberries are really thick, so it's perfect for when you're feeling greasy. I recommend it.

08/12/2024: Hice un viaje especial a este restaurante: buen ambiente, la comida era buena, el especial dominical de pollo asado era muy sabroso y así que somos el calamar frito con salsa de zanahoria, una especialidad del lugar. Donde salió un poco mal fue con la factura: un recargo de 20€ inexplicable. Pensé que era porque estaba cenando solo, pero no se anunciaba en ninguna parte A pesar de disfrutar de la comida y el lugar, no me arriesgaría a volver

09/11/2024: Dommage que la banquette soit totalement inconfortable. C’est juste inadmissible pour un restaurant de cette classe. Heureusement le repas etait très bon.

15/07/2024: Was expecting this to be better given the reviews. Food was ok - nothing special and waitress was not really that bothered we were there. A bit dingy and run down inside. Disappointing.

13/07/2024: Excellent restaurant au pieds de Notre Dale, à l’atmosphère d’une taverne d’autrefois. Les plats sont généreux et succulents, le service chaleureux et rapide…j’y retourne souvent car je ne suis jamais déçue, c’est une valeur sûre

24/08/2024: Don’t get fooled. Low prices are due to Pre cooked food , low quality ingredients, and much of the offered menu unavailable once you’ve sat at the table.
