16/09/2024: Booked in for lunch as a table of 12, admittedly off season so it was quiet and presumably not a full kitchen of staff however the overall experience was quite terrible. After 40 minutes we were given an 'amuse' that was simply a spoon of tuna mayonnaise. They were unable to cover all our salmon starters, so offered an alternative of salmon rilette. The offering was quite tiny, approx a spoonful or so of unseasoned salmon mayonnaise. The actual salmon starter was over cooked and approx 1/4 of a salmon fillet, There was a plain cucumber salad with no seasoning or any sign of fresh herbs. The cod main was a decent portion and fairly well cooked but again a complete lack of any seasoning. Dessert of chocolate pannacotta was closer to a jelly. I will admit I did not complain to the staff as it was a celebratory meal and not my native country so did not want to put a sour note on the meal. The wine was of course great, but to be expected in this environment. Though when my wife ordered a single glass of wine the volume she was poured was laughable. The meal took approx 3 hours which considering we were the only people in the restaurant makes me believe they were not fully staffed. Music choices were odd - sporadic pop and French rap followed by classical music. All these issues are made worse by the price - expensive food that fell short in just about every metric. 29 euros for unseasoned beef and stale tasting potatoes. 16 euros for diced cucumber and 1/4 of a salmon fillet.
