03/09/2026: Update: Following the publication of this review, I received three phone calls from the restaurant that same evening. I find it particularly inappropriate to be contacted repeatedly after posting a negative review. I want to clarify that my review simply describes our experience during this visit.
Probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten. It looked like a high school cafeteria pizza: tiny, very sparsely topped, tasteless, and frankly, sad to look at.
The most incomprehensible thing is that they serve almost exclusively pizzas. One would therefore expect them to be at least decent. It was quite the opposite. We were so disappointed that we left without finishing.
And to present themselves as an Italian "ristorante" with pizzas like these is quite audacious. I don't know what their idea of Italian cuisine is, but what we had on our plates was far from it.
An almost comical experience, it was so bad. Avoid it.

09/08/2026: A must-stop on every holiday departure and return, close to the Tesla Supercharger and Power Dot, right next to the highway. The pastry shop is excellent with a good selection, they offer lunch specials, fresh sandwiches, a large dining area, a children's corner so parents can relax, clean restrooms, and soon a playground that my children have already spotted! My electric vehicle has allowed me to stop at highway rest areas and venture out and enjoy some quality time! Another great tip: there are hotels nearby, and it's much more affordable and better to have breakfast at Patapain than the overpriced hotel breakfast!

I had the set menu of salad, drink, and dessert for around €13. The salad was good, the flan was decent. The service was professional, a little impersonal but quick.

Is there a hygiene department that inspects your store?
How is it possible that every time I visit your establishment, the restroom floor is sticky, with dirt that has clearly been there for a long time?
The stains visible in the photo are not from any liquid, but from solid deposits, accompanied by a strong smell of urine permeating the entire room, and to top it all off, the sink is clogged.
I find this situation unacceptable for an establishment that sells and serves food. A minimum level of hygiene is essential, both for the respect of your customers and for the image of your brand. I hope that measures will be taken quickly.

21/08/2026: It was good, but out of 6 dishes, 2 pizzas were good but small, 2 pasta dishes (one with a spicy aftertaste!), and 2 escalopes were good but very small... Overall, it was good and welcoming, but the portions were very small.
It's a shame, we used to come 2 or 3 times a year. We'll come back to see if the portions have changed, but if they haven't, we'll go somewhere else. It's a real shame compared to the previous owners.
22/06/2026: Very disappointed this time, the pizzas weren't great, the cheese didn't melt, probably too old! It's changed a lot, and not for the better.

Je m’attendais à mieux d’un restaurant arrivé 25 mondial en 2017.
Personnel et lieu agréable
Prix un peu élevé à mon goût vs qualité
