The pizza is definitely cooked in a wood fired oven. The crust is very good and the two pizzas we got, vegetarian and pepperoni, had plenty of tasty toppings. Nice selection of beers too.

A very friendly welcome. We arrived a little late without a reservation, they had just closed the kitchen, but we were still able to enjoy their delicious pizzas and tiramisu. Highly recommended.

This is an absolute must-try if you love Italian food and good pizza! Me, who never eats curds… I devoured them there! Haha Excellent value for money! The drinks are super good (we tried the lemonade range!) And above all… I absolutely loved the tiramisu!! One of the best I've ever had!!! Thank you for this wonderful experience!!!! :)

Very pleasant people. Nice and good pizza. Mine had gotten a bit of a shock. But I'll go back because the ingredients were excellent. Worth a try.

café des art

28/08/2026: Just had a nice drink, and the service and atmosphere were quite pleasant and good. It was nicely situated on the village square. So, it's a top spot for a drink!
28/08/2026: Located in the heart of Sancerre, this cafe offers plenty of outdoor seating in the square in front of the building, in addition to indoor seating. It's always bustling with customers. Although it's a cafe, they have a wide variety of ice cream, ice cream desserts, and shakes. They also serve alcohol and light meals at reasonable prices. The staff are all friendly and create a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

La Taverne du Connetable

04/10/2026: If you come in large numbers (between 10 and 15 already), it will be a very, very, very long wait, and it's a shame the organization is so flawed every time. That's why we only come rarely, because every time... the reason is the same: "We're sorry, but someone didn't come to the kitchen this morning." Every single time... we find it hard to believe after the fourth time. It's a shame because it could be a really nice place.
03/10/2026: A very nice place. Excellent value for money. A very nice menu and a super welcome. Above all, remember to book!
