27/12/2023: Disappointed with the meal and even more so with the behavior. You shouldn't ask if it was if you don't want to hear the truth! 1 hour 45 minutes to have an aperitif and 1 dish that leaves something to be desired. We are not passing tourists, we know what a truffade is. But hey... At home it's different (= it's not a truffade and it's not worth the detour.) 2nd course: Very good hash browns but not cooked enough and bathed in butter... But the worst thing is that when we answer sincerely and delicately to the question 'did you like it'? Tornadoes are unleashed. The waitress blames us for having finished our plate!! Respect ! It wasn't so gross that it didn't finish! If we don't finish it's not billed?? I'm not in the habit of being wasteful or being fake. The boss who finally comes to cash us doesn't say a word or even hello... It's really not a good welcome. We will not return there.

05/11/2023: Frankly, the waitress was friendly, we went there without any pretension, on the contrary, and for my part although the truffade is a dish which represents the region quite well, it did not correspond to the original recipe. No, the truffade doesn't have bacon... it was bland and the potatoes were very soft. The cold cuts were good. In fact I am very angry because when we are asked for our feelings and we kindly respond that we are disappointed by the truffade, a change of attitude and really not pleasant. This behavior from a restaurateur is pretty crazy. Especially since yes your “truffade” is not exceptional or even bad, tasteless and tasteless. (Especially in Auvergne, you could forgive a Parisian) so if you go there, don't comment on the food, say it's good and leave with a smile. For my part, I would prefer not to have dessert and coffee, to leave as quickly as possible to be embarrassed by this lack of humility.
