The park is superb and well-maintained, however, the food is expensive for the quality.

Great experience. The place is clean and the animals have fairly large enclosures. There are several different animal species, which is interesting. The only slight downside is the Lion d'Or restaurant, which is quite expensive considering the quality of the food.

We had a wonderful day in the park. Seeing the extinction of some species outside the park teaches you a great deal, and I'm very glad about that. The only slight drawback I could mention, and this is just my personal opinion, is the lack of a train to take back down. My elderly mother-in-law wanted to take it easy on the way up, but the descent was very difficult for her in the heat. Despite this, we had a great time, and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful park, the animals look well cared for and in great shape. The little refreshment area at the top of the park is fantastic. The children loved meeting the lemurs. Thank you so much!

A fantastic day at the Auvergne Animal Park! The park is lovely and offers the chance to discover many species in a natural setting. We had a wonderful time, with some great discoveries throughout our visit. We highly recommend this outing to families as well as animal and nature lovers.

We booked our tickets in September and didn't have to wait. The route is well-marked, with places to rest, play, and eat. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that the park truly seems designed for the animals, in a lush natural setting. The enclosures are large with plenty of shade, hiding places, and water features... the animals can find privacy and come and go as they please. Some even roam semi-freely. The animals don't seem overcrowded in the enclosures and can interact with other species. Visitors are encouraged to look for the animals from designated viewing areas (glass windows, walkways, etc.), which minimizes any disturbance to the animals. In fact, when we visited, the animals were simply going about their lives; some were sleeping, others were enjoying the water... none of them exhibited any behavioral problems, as is often, and unfortunately, the case in some zoos. Furthermore, we didn't see any animals kept in cages. We spent the whole day there and it was well worth it. We hadn't been to this park before, but now we highly recommend it! Some other parks and zoos should take note!
