Magnificent in the spring sunshine! Walking shoes are recommended. There's a small train (fee applies) for those with limited mobility, and there's a view all the way down. Those who are fit can walk up and down!

The welcome was great, despite the lack of signage at the beginning. Once inside the park, it was impossible to know where the lions, giraffes, etc., were located; there were no signs, just follow the other people… Regarding the public spaces, it's a real shame considering the quality of the surrounding nature. The park itself is nice, but I regret to say that it's very difficult for people with disabilities due to the steep inclines. We wanted to eat, but their restaurant only serves pork, disregarding the fact that other origins come to the park. Frozen fries cost €5, and the set menu €13, even though it's all frozen, is a bit much. A can of soda at €3 is excessive for such a poorly designed park…

A pleasant, well-designed, clean, and maintained park with a genuine focus on animal welfare. Several fun workshops are offered for children. Allow 4 to 5 hours for your visit to fully enjoy it. However, once inside, you cannot re-enter. If you plan to bring a picnic, you will either have to keep it with you all day or choose to eat on-site. Eating there is quite expensive for a family with children, on top of the entrance fees, which are not cheap. We therefore spent 5 hours in the park, keeping all our belongings with us, without being able to leave them at the car. A one-off visit, which we will not repeat.

We visited the park as a family and had a wonderful time despite the cold 🥶 The place is simply magical: it's a real joy to observe the animals in their natural habitats, designed specifically for their well-being and their species. We especially want to thank Harmonie, who accompanied my mother during a special encounter with the monkeys. She taught us so much and took the time to answer all our questions, sharing her passion for animals at various points throughout the day, whether we were with the lions, tigers, Canadian wolves, or primates ☺️ A marvelous visit, thanks to both the quality of the enclosures and the dedication of the keepers. You can feel their genuine commitment to the preservation of endangered species. Thank you! 👏🏽

Large space, not too crowded. Well-maintained enclosures and a wide variety of species.

We had an amazing day! The park is fantastic, with lots of different animals that are easy to see. They have plenty of space, it's super clean and comfortable for them, and we can choose different routes, eat there, and wander around freely. We booked a sloth encounter and a tiger encounter. The sloths were amazing: they're so cute and truly unique animals, and their keeper's explanations were clear, relevant, and really interesting. We spent a real moment with the animals, observing them without disturbing them. We discovered lots of details we wouldn't have noticed otherwise (like the baby curled up against its mother's belly), and we even saw the armadillo that's with them, which almost no one else saw all day because it was sleeping peacefully under its tree stump. The tigers were absolutely breathtaking! We'd never seen such impressive predators so close up. These animals are absolutely magnificent and, wow, so incredibly impressive. With their regal and formidable beauty, the tigers put you in your place as a tiny human, and I'll remember it for the rest of my life. One was just inches away from us. It was breathtaking! The keepers are fantastic; they're truly dedicated and eager to share their passion, not only for the animals but also for the park. They give generously of their time, and it's a truly special experience (not some kind of rip-off). Seriously, don't hesitate to take advantage of these special encounters; they offer them with many different animals, and it's absolutely worth it. It's worth ten times the price! Next time, we'll see the red pandas and the snow leopards. The wildlife park is a real gem in the Auvergne region! A must-see, and a must-do again, without hesitation! A huge thank you to the entire park team. We don't go out much because our jobs keep us too busy. We don't regret for a minute having dedicated our leisure day of the year to all these magnificent animals!

The Auvergne Animal Park is a park surrounded by nature. The staff is very welcoming, and you can see they take great care of their little charges. There are places to eat on-site: snacks are available seasonally, and there's a cafeteria offering locally sourced dishes. Wear good walking shoes as the park is hilly. This park is worth visiting in any season; I love going there to take beautiful photos.
