26/08/2024: Ladies and gentlemen, let's get straight to the point, you MUST stop and enjoy some wonderful food at this restaurant. Words will certainly be difficult to express our satisfaction with this establishment, but I will still try to convey it. We have already returned there 4 times in one week, which is already a good sign, even a very good one. Let's take it step by step, first you will land in a bucolic, almost magical setting in the heart of the mountain, in a small village typical of the Basque country, with its quiet little streets and its beautiful red and white houses. From the terrace, a reassuring, soothing view, the impression of being in the heart of nature, breathing the fresh air of a delicious moment of relaxation and calm. Secondly, the welcome… well… the word Perfect will I think be used a lot in this comment. A welcome as we like them, a smile, a joie de vivre, a sense of service and “to please” which almost makes you want to work with the team. Always the right word, a clear and clear explanation of the menu, a sharing of the restaurant's values ​​such as the proximity of the products, a cheese that comes from barely 5 minutes away, like the jam, a sharing of Basque culture and typical products highlighted. Let’s get to the heart of the matter with what we tasted. Once again, I have no words other than perfect to write. We literally had a blast every time we went there. Our special mentions go to the hake dish and polenta, the Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée and finally, the famous tiramisu with cherry jam. Everything is delicious, homemade, quality, I told you… perfect! I had to take the time to carefully write this well-deserved comment, I do not regret it and would even like to say even more. We would therefore like to thank you very sincerely for contributing to a perfect vacation with these little moments of happiness and pleasure. 22/09/2024: We ate there as a group. Quality cuisine but in quantity it was a little tight. It's a very good restaurant that deserves 5 stars without hesitation.

17/09/2024: 11-day stay at the annex of the Hôtel du Fronton called Hôtel Agian with half board, very beautiful view of the mountains, very comfortable and well equipped room, good bedding, the half board meals are excellent, breakfasts with lots of choice, efficient and helpful staff, well-run establishment by the Bonnet family, very good value for money, I highly recommend.

15/09/2024: Accueil sympathique et repas du jour de très bonne qualité. Ce n'est pas ma première expérience et je n'ai jamais été déçu. Attention, n'hésitez pas à réserver car il y a toujours beaucoup de monde.

04/09/2024: We loved coming for lunch in this restaurant, which has a pleasant terrace, excellent cuisine and superb value for money. But on our last visit the service was appalling. The boss is still so nice but the waitresses still have a lot to learn. On my way to the bathroom, I heard the derogatory comments. We were the table of 2 fat people, not friendly and impatient. However, we were patient and didn't think twice... Too bad we loved coming every year...

18/09/2024: Superb place from another world, authentic, warm. Superb welcome, magnificent setting and what can we say about the meal!!! Everything is very good, served in dishes and like at home, everyone helps themselves. It’s excellent, simple and very well cooked!! Not to be missed!!

25/09/2024: We slept Sunday and Monday night. We booked this hotel, which is in the first town across the French border, because they advertise a heated pool. Surprise that we arrived at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and they were waiting for us to check-in and close. The boy, very kind, gave us all the instructions. Among them, the brasserie restaurant was closed. The thing is that we couldn't find any place in town to have dinner. We went to cross the border to see if we could find something in Spain and it was like a ghost town. So without dinner in bed On Monday, we intended to enjoy the heated pool and, surprise! The one that is free was closed for "maintenance" (we did not see any work on it) so the alternative was the Spa at €29 per person. A little too expensive! So we were left without a bathroom! On Tuesday when we checked out, they apologized to us and offered us the pool. After our refusal, they offered us 1 hour of Spa but in the afternoon. We had to return to Spain and we declined the offer. A shame about the bad experience we have had. The hotel is very cool and by the way, the restaurant was also closed on Monday night, but this time it caught us with supplies. I think that a hotel that wants to have 4* cannot do without giving dinners to its clients. By the way, it's difficult to understand each other because they don't speak Spanish and they understand it a little like that, like that.

And breakfast, a delight in fresh, local products. The scrambled eggs are to die for :) Thanks to the friendly owners, we will surely come back to celebrate the end of the year :)
