07/07/2026: We dined on the terrace in the restaurant's back courtyard. It was very pleasant.
We only ordered one main course followed by dessert, but we were very pleasantly surprised by this bistro-style restaurant, which was new to us.
Veal steak with nectarine, cod loin with satay sauce, pistachio shortbread, rum baba (the attached photos speak for themselves). A good combination of flavors, without being overpowering.
We could have given it 5/5, but we would still recommend that the otherwise very friendly waiter wear Bermuda shorts (because of the heat) that don't look like athletic wear. It's a small detail, but it's important to show respect to the customers. Best wishes,

11/07/2026: This is my second visit to this charming French hotel. It combines the traditions of a typical hotel on the square with the magical association with Le Mans and motor racing. The food in the dining room is wonderful and the buffet breakfast great with freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, cheese and yoghurt. I recommend this as a place to stay!

23/01/2026: I love coming here, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the cuisine is delicious.
17/01/2026: A very bad experience at this so-called "restaurant" which only offers "kebabs," paninis, and a few burgers, even though the meat is clearly frozen in bags for the kebabs and the cheapest frozen ground beef for the burgers. A single kebab is more expensive than a full meal at a real kebab shop, which is hard to understand given the poor quality.
The paninis are also very disappointing: barely half a slice of ham inside.
The service is also lacking. The owner is only pleasant to regular customers, much less so to others, and even goes so far as to talk about them, which is frankly inappropriate.
Very poor value for money. I do not recommend it.

12/06/2026: Great new owners! Open daily for coffee, aperitifs, and wines. Atmospheric decor, an open terrace on the street, and a varied drinks menu. They sell local wine and can tell you a lot about the region in several languages. A living room for locals and a haven for travelers arriving by bike, on foot, or by car. Good luck with your first year! You have a fantastic Le Mans weekend ahead of you right away. Enjoy your new place.
