La Luna sur La Chartre-Sur-Le-Loir

07/07/2026: We dined on the terrace in the restaurant's back courtyard. It was very pleasant. We only ordered one main course followed by dessert, but we were very pleasantly surprised by this bistro-style restaurant, which was new to us. Veal steak with nectarine, cod loin with satay sauce, pistachio shortbread, rum baba (the attached photos speak for themselves). A good combination of flavors, without being overpowering. We could have given it 5/5, but we would still recommend that the otherwise very friendly waiter wear Bermuda shorts (because of the heat) that don't look like athletic wear. It's a small detail, but it's important to show respect to the customers. Best wishes, Patrick Taveau
