Les meilleurs restaurants en Macot-La-Plagne

06/04/2024: We went there in February and came back in March. A magical moment every time. Whether in the sun, enjoying the magnificent view to the rhythm of the DJ, or in bad weather to appreciate the warm and cocooning decor. The whipped chocolate (very generous in whipped cream) is one of the best in the resort, and the homemade mulled wine, of which we were able to have part of the recipe, is truly delicious. For the dishes, the homemade Thai dish that I eat every time we pass by is really very good and a change from the classic Savoyard dishes. The homemade chocolate mousse or the homemade fruit salad for dessert are among my favorites too. The highlight of this place which has become essential to our stays in La Plagne, the quality of service that you cannot find anywhere else. Of course it is a self-service restaurant, but the staff is welcoming, attentive, always ready to help you carry your tray or find/clear a table for you to sit there. I highly recommend this place which we will eagerly revisit. See you next year L’Arpette!

05/04/2024: Top restaurant! Magnificent view, fast service. I advise you to enjoy the lasagna with a good beer! Nothing like it after a morning of skiing 👌🏼

29/03/2024: Sat and waited over half an hour to even order a drink they came to the table 3 times. And we're always going to come back. They did bring cutlery. But after over 30 minutes waiting we walked out. 13 of us. Probably explains why 13 of us could actually get a seat together at lunch time.

25/03/2024: Food is acceptable but nothing special. Some of the toilets don't have soap or paper to dry hands. The upstairs lady's toilet lock was stuck. It took my wife 4-5 tries to open the door from the inside. Music is slightly annoying/loud inside. Had to go downstairs to pay instead of paying at the table where we ate.

27/04/2024: The staff, with their English accent, are adorable. We eat pretty well and especially for cheap compared to those around us. You can play there, drink there, have a good time there. We came in April as a group (by booking) and they were lovely even though we were very noisy. See you soon !

04/04/2024: What an experience, and not the good kind! Came with my family (two small children under 21) and left with them in tears, the curry had the consistency of sewer water and the drinks tasted like pure ethanol. All this could have possibly been excused until the woman owner cut me off after 4 drinks and claimed my children were participating in illegal activities (sitting and eating curry) the male owner and bar staff were a delight though and worked as hard as they could in such conditions.

22/03/2024: Good little place to grab a bite to eat, have a coffee or even a beer. The Burgers are good. Just can do better on service. The servers are just normal.

22/02/2024: We returned there in February and the establishment is still very friendly and very well exposed. Very welcoming staff. Ideal place for a break in Plagne Soleil.
