Les meilleurs restaurants en Macot-La-Plagne

01/08/2023: I think this was THE WORST service I ever had in a restaurant. And I am easily pleased.... I worked in La Plagne from 2015 - 2017 for a tour operator and I remember that I worked with La Mangeoire. Recommending this restaurant to all my clients who stayed in Bellecôte. Unfortunately my experience a couple of days ago was THE COMPLETE Opposite from what I was used to. The owner of the place which is also the main waitress was the most disrespectful waitress I have ever had. She was very pushy for us to order, forcing us to decide wether we wanted to drink wine or not. While eating, she watches us as if she was a warden. I ordered an entrecôte steak, which was not well baked. I asked for a medium rare and got something that was not even BLUE... Afterwards for the waitress came after our meal asking what we were going to order for desert, without asking the question whether we wanted to order desert or not. And again, in a very pushy way. We then decided to order a hot drink and I ordered cappucino. I got a coffee where cold milk was poured in and sprinkled a bit of cocoa powder... My friend who ordered regular coffee got a double shot of espresso... The place was also very cold as if the heater wasn't turned on. And there was no music in the background either, regardless that they had very good sound system installed. Conclusion: I don't know what happend in the past few years and why this restaurant has changed so much. The owner of the place used to be a very strict, but polite and kind person. Unfortunately that has changed to the negative side. The food wasn't very tasty either. The only positive I could say was the bus boy, who knew what a service meant and was just plain POLITE... So unfortunate for this experience. I would not recommend this restaurant anymore.
