19/07/2026: I go there every year to eat waffles and have fondue or raclette. They have a wide variety of items. The sandwiches are the best. They're very generously filled, and you can choose whatever you want.
06/05/2026: A fantastic welcome, excellent food, a peaceful setting with a stunning view. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. An ideal place to take a break, winter or summer!

16/08/2026: It was a pleasure to see Jeannette again at L'Ancolie, so authentic, so attentive to her customers, and of course we thoroughly enjoyed her terrines, the guinea fowl with blueberries accompanied by a succulent eggplant gratin, and of course the famous raspberry sabayon for dessert. An exceptional moment. Thank you, Jeannette!

25/04/2026: Not great. We tried it on the last day the restaurant was open. It was supposed to be a set menu for €22, including grilled meat (either chicken or sausage), fries or gratin, salad, and dessert. We sat down, but there was no more chicken, so we got two sausages, a handful of fries, and some salad. And when it came time for dessert, there was nothing left—no dessert, nothing to replace it, not a free drink, not a discount on the bill.
€22 is a lot for two chipolatas and a handful of fries!
25/03/2026: Since its expansion, this restaurant has unfortunately lost its friendly atmosphere, which is a real shame. It's best enjoyed on a sunny day, as you're likely to get very cold when it's cooler.

26/04/2026: I really didn't enjoy the experience. The waiters and managers were particularly unpleasant, refusing, among other things, to offer me a glass of water with my coffee.
19/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, extremely friendly waiters and excellent food! We were also lucky enough to be seated upstairs with a view of the sunset and no one else around, I highly recommend it!

19/09/2024: We spent one night in this hotel, following a last minute change of plans, but we left with regret. Everything was perfect, the reception on the phone and on site very pleasant, friendly, personalized. The rooms are well equipped, clean and relaxing. The establishment is a stone's throw from the village center and a river where we took a charming little stroll. Dinner was very good and the breakfast buffet was plentiful, varied and delicious.
If we are passing through Bessans, we will come back. Thanks for everything.
20/08/2024: Unfortunately I cannot separate hotel reviews and restaurant reviews..
I didn't have the opportunity to stay at the hotel but then the restaurant, nothing to say.
Pleasant and attentive waiter, as well as the welcome in the hall.
As for the food, simply a treat.
What's more, the dining room is very pleasant :)
I can only advise!
