03/04/2024: Our experience at LA CALE restaurant in DIEPPE was mixed. The quality of the food was excellent, but we were disappointed not to find a children's menu available. In addition, a poster at the entrance to the restaurant made a tasteless joke about children, which deeply displeased our 8-year-old son and us as parents. We expressed our concern to the waitress, who explained that it was humor, but we didn't find it funny at all. We believe it is important for establishments to understand the sensitivities of their customers and adapt their communication accordingly. Despite the quality of the cuisine, these aspects left us with a mixed impression. In response to your response: I assure you, I did not say thank you, nor goodbye when leaving: like father, like son would say you to me. We preferred to put a headset and a console on him... in the end it's a bit like a leash.

11/05/2024: A very warm place decorated in an oriental style, particularly welcoming where you just have to take a seat for a "journey" to the Levant. The affable team takes great care of its customers and the traditional, simple cuisine is very pleasant: the lemon chicken and the hummus are worth a detour! A delicious and exotic break just a stone's throw from the city center and the esplanade.

30/03/2024: The food and service were excellent. My husband and I both had the Duck which was cooked to perfection. We ordered the Soufflé for dessert and we were not disappointed. It was delicious. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for its service, atmosphere and I would say excellent value for money. We would have loved to have gone back but it was closed. We would easily eat there every night.

02/04/2024: My son gave me a bag of little chocolate eggs today, what can I say... Ashamed. It's a shame that zero stars aren't possible because that would deserve it. Moldy Easter chocolate. (The day after Easter) The manufacturing date is doubtful or the hygiene needs to be reviewed. The standard of the establishment is no longer what it used to be. If you no longer know how to make chocolate as a chocolatier pastry chef, it is better to remove the sign from the front of the business and no longer make any. My son is really upset to see this. 10/05/2024: The food was quite good. However, the friendliness of the waitress sometimes left something to be desired. When we had the “misfortune” of asking her for ketchup to accompany our fries, she was quite condescending, even letting us waive our request to avoid upsetting her. Really unfortunate that this tarnishes the reputation of the restaurant.
