20/07/2026: We came from the Yvelines region for a long weekend and had lunch there twice. The new owners are lovely and the staff is very attentive. The menu is simple, the portions are generous, and the shellfish is fresh. I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍👍

16/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant and left delighted! The dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with care. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the setting is truly charming.
A huge thank you, in particular, to the waitress who was working lunch yesterday, Wednesday, July 15th, in the garden area. She demonstrated remarkable kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. Seeing that we were with our 6-month-old daughter, she took the initiative to find us a sheltered spot so we could all be comfortably seated. This gesture touched us deeply and greatly contributed to making our meal even more enjoyable.
It's these kinds of small touches that make all the difference and make you want to come back. Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome; we will be back with great pleasure!

25/07/2026: I'd seen this cute little coffee shop on Google Maps with good reviews saying it felt like home. I think the place is a bit overrated. We had a coffee and a chai coffee there, which were good but not the best. The place is pretty and friendly, but that's about it. The welcome was simple, but not enough to make you feel at home, and there weren't many snacks on offer like you see in the photos (a bit disappointing). There were just some non-homemade cookies and marshmallow bears, nothing special.
So personally, I didn't feel at home, but it's fine for just having a quiet coffee.

Cafe gourmand une tuerie ainsi que leurs glaces à faire absolument
27/08/2024: Au gré du parcours de la petite bourgade de veules les roses, ma petite fille devait aller au toilette. Nous nous sommes arrêtés Chez Calou en face d'un édifice religieux magnifique. Ce fut une très belle surprise. Des glaces au goût exquis, un accueil chaleureux, un service rapide. Un très bon moment familial.
