09/07/2024: Cockroach in the restaurant! I went to eat this afternoon, I ordered a main course then a dessert. I ate my dish then once I finished the dish I realized that there was a cockroach walking at my feet, knowing that we were sitting right next to the kitchen doors... So I discreetly went to see the sellers to inform them and get reimbursed at least for the dessert that I didn't eat but according to them it's completely normal to have cockroaches in restaurants and that I quote " there are cockroaches everywhere and at everyone's house", One of the saleswomen informed me that they knew about it, that they were trying to get them to leave, but for the moment there are still some in the restaurant and it's a shame that no one took me seriously. .. I had to wait 2 hours for the manager to reimburse me for the dessert which was not even prepared and I was entitled to an apology with a smile on my mouth (well yes it's so funny to have cockroach in his restaurant)

21/09/2024: My number was 26! I ordered 5 pizzas 1 hour wait again that I can understand Saturday evening. They are as dry as if they had been made at 9am. Visually neither done nor to be done. Really, we ate 3 pizzas out of 5. Filthy.

19/03/2024: Being a regular at this restaurant I come here often the welcome is very random depending on the mood of the owner, Saturday March 16 I came at 12:30 p.m. with my husband and my son the gentleman replied that it was full while some tables were about to finish their meals a real restaurateur would have suggested waiting a little while a table became available but no he preferred to tell us next time we have to come at 12 p.m. and run goodbye in a curt tone and not at all very welcoming! The pizzas are good but the welcome is important to me, I wouldn't come back!

29/12/2023: I ordered cappuccino and was surprised to see that the milk was cold with cocoa sprinkled on it. We were asked to heat our cappuccino in the microwave which didn't work. This is unacceptable, she did not reimburse me even though several people complained. She did nothing to remedy the situation. I don't advise you to go there!!

23/07/2024: Thieb is really not edible. It's shameful to serve an expired dish. Add mustard to cover the taste. I really don't recommend this dish. The saka saka on the other hand is delicious. The chicken is not necessarily tasty but it is edible.

They took care of everything, I was able to enjoy the moment and my guests. The host knows how to set the mood with humor. Everyone had a great time. I have wonderful memories of it. 21/08/2024: Staying in France during the Olympics, my husband and I wanted to ensure we'd avoid the crazy traffic of Paris before catching our flight. So we decided to stay close to the airport at a completely new and unfamiliar area to us. Sadly, with an area like that, there are not too many food choices, so when it came time for dinner, we were struggling to find an authentic French place to enjoy one last French meal before leaving Europe. The one we finally decided on was Chez David, and boy are we happy we did! First and foremost, the family-owned warm and welcoming vibes accompanied us from the moment we walked through the door right until we left. The incredible father-daughter duo managed to deliver a dining experience we would've been beyond happy to receive at some fancy restaurant next to the Eiffel Tower, not to mention a small restaurant on the outskirts of Paris! The service was the most authentic, friendly and accommodating we've probably ever experienced in France. From giving food recommendations to providing samples of wine for us to choose our favourite, the service was nothing short of amazing. However, the absolute highlight of our visit was the food. We ordered a small set of escargot, which was seasoned perfectly and went down an absolute treat. Since we weren't too hungry, for the main course we shared some seared scallops, which were cooked to perfection and probably the best scallops I've ever had! The sauce they were served with was full of flavor and absolutely delectable! On the side, we shared a Caprese-style salad, with the sweetest, juiciest tomatoes and deliciously creamy mozzarella. All in all, should you ever find yourself in the area, a visit to Chez David is an absolute must! PS! The prices compared to the city center are also an absolute treat!
