It was absolutely delicious! I haven't eaten so well in ages! Their Tikka Masala, their Cheese Naan, everything was amazing!
The staff was so friendly, from the waiters to the owner!

18/04/2026: My colleagues and I placed a joint order, and when it arrived, I found my salmon skewers mixed with meat. I don't understand how someone who orders fish because they don't eat meat can end up with their skewers swimming in meat sauce. Mistakes happen, but when I called, they clearly told me over the phone that it wasn't their problem. No apology, nothing. Not even a gesture of goodwill. It's unacceptable!

12/04/2026: My go-to spot, the food and drinks are just as good as in Paris but for a bit less. The terrace is fantastic for the neighborhood, especially pleasant in the spring. The pizzas are delicious, and the menu is unpretentious. Homemade fries and a great atmosphere—what more could you ask for? Big shout-out to Céline and Idir, always so kind and accommodating.
26/03/2026: Last Tuesday, my wife and I went to La Fontaine restaurant at 47 rue Armand Carrel, and we had a really lovely time. The welcome was warm, the service pleasant, and we ate very well. The dishes were delicious and well-prepared. I highly recommend it.

10/04/2026: I had couscous, steak, and french fries. The friendly and cheerful staff even taught me how to eat couscous, which I wasn't used to, so I was able to enjoy my meal with ease. (Some staff members spoke English and Japanese.)
Everything was delicious, but be warned about the portion size of the couscous. Even though I consider myself a big eater, I couldn't finish it. They'll pack it up for you to take away if you ask, so it's a good option to take back to your accommodation for a late-night snack during the colder months.
I'll definitely go again!

09/03/2026: As a regular at this restaurant, I recommended it to a friend for her daughter's christening.
Initially, everything went well; the owner was very responsive and offered a very reasonable price.
But on the day... a disaster...
We waited an hour and a half for our couscous! And not even during peak service; it was 3 pm when we arrived at the restaurant...
Meanwhile, they were serving us a delicious eggplant caviar, but without any toast or bread... The bread baskets arrived sporadically...
The couscous finally arrived, but there were no utensils to serve it with! We had to ask again and again... The guests were so hungry that some started serving themselves couscous with forks... In desperation...
Two people had ordered steak and fries, and they arrived after we had already finished our couscous...
When we asked for the table to be cleared so we could eat dessert (brought by the parents), we were told they would come and clear it when they had time... So we cleared everything ourselves... And then, to top it all off, there were no more cutlery or plates... We had to wait an incredibly long time...
The brave waiter assigned to us was completely alone, going back and forth with almost no help...
This restaurant shouldn't accept such large groups; they don't know how to manage. They should stick to traditional dining and avoid disappointing so many people who should have been together in joy and peace, but instead ended up hungry and stressed...
09/03/2026: I am writing in response to recent comments regarding the event scheduled for March 8th for approximately forty people. Unfortunately, the organization was very disappointing and fell far short of what would have been expected for an event planned for some time.
From the very beginning of service, it was clear that the restaurant was not prepared to accommodate a group of this size. There were not enough place settings, the service was overwhelmed, and there was clearly a lack of staff to handle the situation. The servers had to manage our group, the tables on the ground floor, and those outside, which was simply impossible under normal circumstances.
However, I would like to emphasize that the servers did everything they could to cope with this difficult situation. They were clearly neither sufficiently prepared, nor numerous enough, nor properly equipped to handle the influx of customers. Special mention goes to the server with the cap (sorry, I don't know his name) who undoubtedly did his best and was the most attentive.
The real problem clearly lies with the restaurant's management. The manager is primarily responsible for this poor organization. When accepting an event of this magnitude, it is essential to plan ahead: ensuring sufficient staff, equipment, and appropriate organization. None of this seems to have been done. Even worse, the manager didn't even bother to meet with the customers to apologize or try to calm the situation.
This is regrettable, as it puts the employees on the front line, facing customer dissatisfaction, when they are simply doing the best they can with the resources available to them. The staff is not to blame.
We wish these employees, who tried their best despite clearly difficult working conditions, all the best for the future.
