12/07/2026: We were a group of five girls chatting in front of the bar when the manager verbally attacked us, demanding we be quieter in an extremely aggressive and disrespectful tone. Moments later, another customer also intervened inappropriately and violently. There is absolutely no sense of hospitality or respect for customers. If you're looking for a place to have a good night out, avoid this place. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO THERE.

04/07/2026: Avoid at all costs! The owner is extremely unpleasant, the sound system is terrible, and when I say unpleasant, I mean really annoying and nasty.

26/07/2026: Hello, I just wanted to say, firstly, there was an extremely long wait, and secondly, I found the waiter to be completely disrespectful; he practically laughed in my face. I ordered a spicy dish, but once it was served, I realized it was inedible. I understand that food can be spicy, but this was ridiculous! I love chili, but they made it way too hot. I also ordered cabbage, which I never received! It cost me €40; I might as well have gone to a proper restaurant! I told him, and he laughed in my face. Truly disrespectful. Hello, I'm sorry to leave another negative review… I really like Pitaya, so I keep coming back because, despite everything, I enjoy your food… The woman with the tattoo on her neck was incredibly unpleasant. I've never seen anything like it. If you don't love your job, you should quit! This isn't appropriate behavior for a restaurant. Private problems should stay outside! We, the customers, are not the cause of moods like this!

26/07/2026: Could use a little sprucing up. I've eaten at pitayas that were cleaner than this one. The food was perfectly decent, but the wait was a bit long.

16/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our stay. We arrived to find the pool closed and we hadn't been informed (we had specifically chosen this hotel), and our hallway was under construction. We woke up at 8:30 in the morning to loud construction noises outside our door. A real shame for what was supposed to be a relaxing stay 🙁

14/04/2026: This is unacceptable for a hotel. It urgently needs renovation. There was paint in the hallways, and we weren't notified. Not even a bottle of water (Cristal brand only costs a few cents). The breakfast room is too small. Not enough space. I do not recommend this hotel.

08/05/2026: The Bamboo Thai restaurant is currently closed... we weren't able to eat there. But new owners are taking over the premises, and apparently we'll be able to enjoy Thai cuisine again. It's scheduled to open in early June, from what I understand... a Thai-Italian mix. Worth checking out!

12/04/2026: Excellent place! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend it.

25/08/2026: We had a very pleasant evening. The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent.

23/07/2026: Worst experience of my life. My trip to North Korea was more welcoming than this man who said "what's this?" when we handed him money. Furthermore, an employee tried to escape while the boss's back was turned. It's also worth mentioning that the boss insulted his female employee by shouting "shut up, you old hag!" Since this terrifying ordeal, I've been questioning whether life truly has any meaning. Run away!

20/08/2026: I didn't know about this place and relied on the Google rating. What a disappointment! I gave it two stars because the staff at reception were really nice, but that's where the positives end. The place isn't clean (as evidenced by the deplorable state of the air conditioning), and the food I ate wasn't good either. The spring rolls were very greasy, served without salad or mint, and reheated (so they were soggy and not at all crispy). The "stir-fried chicken with basil" was unusual in that it contained no real chicken pieces, just some finely chopped substance. You might even wonder if it was chicken at all. Everything was reheated and far too salty. I understand the convenience of using a microwave for speed, but we all know how bad it tastes. All this for €17 with a drink; I don't think it was good value for money. A bad experience, I won't be repeating it.

07/03/2026: The food is more like frozen or reheated; it's a far cry from Thai cuisine. And I'm not even going to mention the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the windows, which supposedly offer a lake view, but unfortunately, you have to look closely because between the dirt, the streaks, and the fly marks... Not to mention the rest, although the service was pleasant.

25/11/2025: The decor was a bit cold, the service a bit less so - but the food was truly excellent and generous! We'll definitely be back 😊
