27/08/2024: A 10/10 without hesitation and well deserved! Everything was perfect, from the first stroke of the fork to the last stroke of the spoon. The dishes are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to taste. Marcial welcomed us like kings and gave us warm advice. The intimate and refined setting with a background of soft music invites conversation and makes the experience very pleasant and relaxed. This restaurant is now a must every time I set foot in Paris :)

I rarely leave reviews but they deserve it
I had the sautéed prawns and Thai vermicelli.
Nuanced flavors, finely cut vegetables: pepper, carrot, bamboo shoots and of course beautiful, tender prawns with flavor.
07/09/2024: Ordered on Deliveroo. Since it was my first order, they kindly wrote a letter & gifted drinks, sides and candy. The food was very good! Thanks for the great service.

The taste is not at all condescending to foreigners. The fish sauce is very delicious. The amount is appropriate for the price.
This restaurant is the reason I want to come back to Paris again.
26/06/2025: I apologize for decreasing the stars. The taste of the food is really not the same. I'm not sure if the kitchen team has changed. If you eat there often, you'll know. For example, Naem Tha Duea is usually good, but now...🙏🙏😵💫

They do not accept Ticket Restaurant.

08/07/2025: You had me at microwave. I mean, seriously? Reheating food in a microwave—in full view of the customers? Come on, guys, you should know better. That thing’s sitting right out in the open like it’s part of the show. It’s not. It’s embarrassing. It screams laziness. If you’re cutting corners that boldly, you’re telling people straight-up: ‘We don’t care about quality.’ Honestly, the only people eating here clearly don’t care what real food tastes like. Sort it out.

03/12/2024: Delicious delicious delicious, I took the pad thai shrimp and spicy chicken fried rice as we like rice, really a taste treat.
21/10/2024: Thai Lao is an elegant, small and cozy restaurant, which offers simple traditional Lao and Thai cuisine, full of flavor. The chef is talented. The owner is attentive, even if there is sometimes a wait depending on busy times. The waitress is smiling and efficient.
Lunch menu at €14.50 (starter + main course + coffee)
Starter: spring rolls
Dish: chicken with green curry sauce
Cantonese rice
The spring rolls are the best (light and very crispy) that I know. We could eat it without being hungry...
The chicken is tender and the curry subtly dosed. Cantonese rice is tasty
The à la carte dishes are also excellent.
Thai Lao is ideal for a romantic dinner as well as a group meal or a quick lunch with colleagues... Staff from UNESCO, ESA, embassies and surrounding ministries go there regularly

21/03/2024: I now live far from the 15th arrondissement, and I regret no longer being able to go to Washi, which for me is one of the best Thai restaurants in Paris. Visited at least thirty times over the years and never disappointed. I recommend the pad thai and the chocolate spring rolls!
