18/01/2026: My daughter and I loved this little Thai restaurant in a charming neighborhood! From the main courses to the desserts, everything was refined and full of flavor, and the staff were very friendly and smiling! A real treat!

25/06/2025: If you like Asian food in general, this place is worth a visit. They have Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and probably other Asian dishes. The food is also delicious and plentiful!

05/12/2025: We ate here last night while staying at the Hyatt Regency Etoile in Paris. The food was so good! We had egg rolls, fried shrimp and dumplings for appetizers and then shared a bowl of the duck soup (so good and on a cold night it sure hit the spot!) Topped it off with green teas ice cream. I would definitely recommend for a very reasonably priced and tasty meal!

Chez Basilic truly charmed me with its warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, and flavorful, fragrant, and generous portions.
Special mention goes to the basil duck and the pad thai: perfectly spiced, fragrant without being overpowering, a real treat.
The service is attentive, the place is cozy, and you leave wanting to come back. I highly recommend it!

07/02/2026: Just steps from Place d'Italie, the restaurant is pleasant and the service is friendly. The dining room is welcoming, but the neighbors are a little too close. The dishes are good, varied, and generous. The mochi are excellent, and the staff is impeccable in case of a mistake with the flavor.

11/01/2026: The chicken had a really weird, very bitter taste… I had terrible stomach pain a few hours later! I don't recommend it.

30/10/2025: An exceptional welcome, superb service from the owner, and sublime quality of food. If I'm ever in Paris, near the Gare de Lyon, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Mei Xi.
All this at an affordable price.
(I can't even suck in my stomach!)
30/10/2025: Excellent canteen, lovely manager. We ate plenty of the various dishes that were left over at the end of the afternoon, all for a very reasonable price and in a pleasant atmosphere.
We will gladly return.
