30/08/2026: A truly wonderful gastronomic experience in Chennevières-sur-Marne.
Housed in a historic former coaching inn, the restaurant immediately charms with its idyllic setting, particularly the terrace overlooking the Marne River, which offers a tranquil and tranquil atmosphere.
On the plate, traditional French cuisine is carefully prepared, refined, and beautifully presented. The menu impresses with both the precision of the cooking and the freshness of the ingredients.
The highlight is undoubtedly the wine list: impressive, featuring a wealth of prestigious estates and magnificent, well-chosen vintage wines.
Prices are on the higher end for the area, but the riverside location, the elegant setting, and the quality of the wine cellar more than justify the experience for a delightful lunch or an exceptional dinner. Highly recommended.
23/08/2026: A very pleasant experience.
The starters (vitello tonnato and foie gras confit), as well as the catch of the day and risotto, were exquisitely prepared and presented.
The service was impeccable, including from the apprentices – and the owners are very attentive.
Reserve a table on the terrace overlooking the Marne if the weather is nice; it adds to the charm of this former 16th-century coaching inn.
We will be back.

The prices are very reasonable and the value for money is truly exceptional. The individual pizzas are huge: they can easily feed two people, they're so generous.
The other dishes are also hearty and very well presented. The service is quick, attentive, and perfectly organized. All the dishes arrive at the same time, which is very convenient when eating in a group.
We had a wonderful time and we will gladly return. A place I recommend without hesitation!

They were overwhelmed even though the restaurant was practically empty.

01/08/2026: Questionable hygiene and freshness!!!
I saw that the rice was stored in a large blue bin with a perforated lid. If there are pests, it's easily accessible.
The dishes looked several days old; I wonder how long they keep their food when they can't sell everything. (I ordered the chicken salad because it was the only one that was decent.)
Even worse!
I wanted to add to my order. The waitress had already reheated two shrimp ravioli for my 5-year-old daughter, and she put the one I couldn't take directly from the display case after reheating it! She didn't accept credit cards or restaurant vouchers.
Restaurant vouchers are not accepted (which I didn't know beforehand).
A minimum of €10 is required for credit card payments, with no flexibility whatsoever, even for a child's order. (Even though we had already placed an order for a family of 3)
Very disappointing experience; hygiene checks seem necessary.

24/08/2024: je me suis présenté avec mon épouse, un jeune homme très poli et accueillant nous a installé. Par contre la seule femme qui travaillait dans cette brasserie pas aimable arrogante. C’est dommage elle ferait mieux de changer de métier comme gardien de prison. Ça lui irait mieux.
Le patron ne doit pas savoir ce qui se passe, car elle cache bien son jeu c’est bien dommage.
19/06/2024: Endroit qui permet de passer un bon moment entre amies.
Chapeau à votre serveuse et particulièrement pour sa Pina Colada😉 très agréable et souriante.
Pour y avoir déjà déjeuner : bon repas.
