09/08/2026: A superb evening on the terrace (on the pedestrian street). We thoroughly enjoyed all our dishes. I personally loved the stuffed mussels as a starter. Others said they were a bit too greasy.
And the chef taking a bow at the end of the meal to check on everyone… fantastic!
08/08/2026: If there's one restaurant to try in Sanary, it's Le Baroudeur.
Everything is perfect: the food, the service, the atmosphere.
In short, I highly recommend it.

Exceptional service. Very pleasant owners.
The tuna tartare with mango was delicious.

08/07/2026: One of the best sushi restaurants in the area, the ingredients are carefully selected, the recipes are varied, and the flavors are spot on. They regularly offer special deals that are definitely worth checking out, and I highly recommend their coconut Nutella dessert—it's to die for! And how can I not mention the service? The lovely hostesses are kind, attentive, and always smiling, and according to my daughter, "the lady at the register is so nice!"
An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend.

I've never been disappointed.

The waitresses/cashiers are incredibly rude.

01/08/2026: A wonderful discovery by chance while exploring Sanary. A lovely restaurant, far from the tourist traps of the port, on a charming, quiet street. A warm and very friendly welcome from the staff. Our dinner was cooked over charcoal right before our eyes; we enjoyed both the fish and the meat equally! Finally, a restaurant we want to return to!! Well done and thank you for your professionalism.

04/12/2025: For our first time, we loved both takeaway pizzas.
The crust was delicious and crispy, the tomato sauce had just the right amount of garlic and flavor, and the other toppings were perfect.
The price was more than reasonable!
If we have the chance, we'll be back!

17/05/2026: We only went to the restaurant. It was recommended via GPT chat, and we called at the last minute on a Saturday night. The staff is very welcoming, the outdoor terrace is superb with a sea view, and the location is magnificent. We were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves while we ate—pure bliss. The dishes are original and very tasty. We loved it. I highly recommend it!

07/07/2026: Avoid this place if you're dining with family: even if your child is very young, you'll have to order the children's menu or pay a €10 "no meal" charge. The children's menu is neither appetizing nor suitable for young children. And if you don't comply, you'll be asked to leave. Our worst family restaurant experience by far!
Update following feedback from the owner: We were never offered a different table!

13/02/2026: We booked by phone that morning, but even on the phone, the owner wasn't very welcoming.
The reception was lukewarm at best, and after two or three unpleasant remarks, we decided to leave this small establishment. I suppose all the positive reviews correspond to the days when the owner is friendly!

12/06/2026: Fine older, family operated hotel in a unique location. Restaurant is fantastic, but be sure to reserve in advance and take the time to consider the menu in advance!
02/06/2026: If there was a hotel star for hospitality, this hotel would have 5!
We arrived at 9am, with 2 motorbikes and luggage, tired and hungry from an overnight ferry journey. Reception could not have been warmer: have some breakfast, private parking for the bikes and your room is ready.
Now that is special.
Hotel is charming and you will already know there is no lift: our room was as advertised and the best view of any hotel over Sanary Harbour. Rooms are excellent value for money.
The restaurant (closed Tuesday) is easily the best place to eat in Sanary.
This hotel is a real gem, run by a genuinely warm hotel family team.
We cannot wait to return - and check in at a more normal time !
