07/06/2026: Overall, it was good, although the mattress was worn out. The hotel was quiet and peaceful.
Breakfast was quite varied: ham, cheese, raw and hard-boiled eggs, all kinds of bread, yogurt, and much more.

Honestly, a very welcoming place that I encourage you to try.
16/05/2026: I find it very poor form to tell customers at checkout that the 18-month-old baby's meal is free and the 5-year-old's meal is the cheapest (to encourage repeat business), only for them to realize once they get home that they've paid the full amount... In terms of honesty...

04/05/2026: On the plate: No complaints, the portions are very generous. You definitely get your money's worth!
The service: The waitress was excellent, pleasant, and smiling. Her professionalism saved the day.
The owner's attitude: This is where the problem lies. A frosty welcome, not a smile, and above all, not a "goodbye" when we left.
The lack of presence: You can feel a real disinterest in the customers. The owner doesn't come to check if everything is alright and seems to prefer napping upstairs rather than attending to his guests.
I wouldn't want to work for him personally. Kudos to his staff, the young chef, and the waitress!

We were very well received, the waitress was warm and gave good advice.
The food and cocktails were excellent and the owners very friendly.
Reasonable price given the quality of the service and the meal.
We have already advised those around us to try this bar restaurant. We will come back with pleasure.
13/12/2024: It's clearly my canteen, fresh product, top quality service, we're laughing. There is humor. The waitress is great in the evening, the background music is terrible. You just have to settle down and let yourself be carried away. In addition, it's the only restaurant in the lounge where you arrive at 9:30 a.m. to 4:05 a.m. and they accept you to eat without grapes without anything really, that's already fabulous.

12/05/2025: Magnificent family hotel where you feel at home. Very friendly welcome from the staff and owners. Well maintained.
Large old-fashioned room, for those who love beautiful homes this is a perfect place.
The park is splendid, planted with century-old trees.
We were not able to take advantage of the swimming pool, not yet open, but we will come back, because we felt very good at the Château de la Vérie. Well done to the operators for letting us enjoy this place!

27/12/2024: I had the misfortune, if I can call it that, to "taste" these pizzas at the Challans bowling alley in February, so frankly, you might as well buy frozen pizzas from the supermarket. Even the dough isn't good, the tomato sauce and cheese aren't much better, and the amount of toppings surprised me considering the price, as it was practically nonexistent.
