01/09/2026: We came to do some shopping this morning. The cashier was welcoming and friendly. I won't comment on her colleague, who wasn't the most pleasant member of the team. However, the fact that the electronic payment terminal for bank cards wasn't indicated anywhere, not even on the entrance door, to allow us to deal with this unforeseen situation. Luckily, we had some cash to pay for our purchases. As I was leaving, I was inwardly outraged to hear the second employee say to the next customer after we'd abruptly announced the malfunction: "You do have cash, though!" No, Madam, not everyone has access to cash. ATMs are becoming increasingly rare, and therefore, bank cards, thanks to contactless payment, are by far the most common. Just put up clear signs, and we'll adapt. We usually come very early, on our way home from work, and are served by other employees, thankfully. It's a shame for a town that strives to be vibrant thanks to its shopkeepers who radiate good cheer. Remember that with a smile and a zest for life, every difficulty can find a solution through communication. Regarding the quality of the products, the Campagraine is always pleasant, especially since we come early. The pastries are disappointing. I sincerely believe the products arrive frozen and are baked on-site because either they are dry and hardened by 5:30 a.m., much to our surprise when we arrived, or the inside is full of air with very little filling. There's just enough to give them a hint of flavor. Coming back is a waste of time when we realize this. We hardly ever came anymore, and with today's experience, it's certain: we're going to a different shop.
