28/08/2026: MAGNIFICENT! An exceptional Vietnamese restaurant! I ate here with my father, mother, and dog. They prepared plain chicken just for my dog, which was very kind of them. Everything was absolutely phenomenal: delicious, authentic dishes prepared with great care. Jean-Max welcomed and served us wonderfully, and his mother, who is in the kitchen, is a remarkable chef. You can feel all the family passion behind each dish. Don't miss the spicy beef and the flambéed bananas. A superb discovery and a must-try. You absolutely have to go! MUST GO HERE IF YOU COME TO ÎLE ROUSSE!

24/08/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant yesterday doesn't reflect the positive reviews. We didn't receive the menu until about 20 minutes later. Our attempts to speak English with the server failed miserably, as the French-speaking server kept disappearing into the kitchen. So far, so good. We opted for the set menu. The appetizer didn't arrive for over an hour. Then we were informed that the beef set menu was no longer available, which was perfectly fine up to that point. The wait had ballooned to two hours, and the other guests were visibly annoyed. At this point, we decided to leave, and I asked for the bill. Initially, the server wanted to charge the full price of the set menu, which I certainly wasn't willing to pay under these circumstances! We eventually came to an agreement, but I was still disappointed that this promising restaurant didn't live up to expectations yesterday. It's a shame because the food really did look good.
