- Good
- Inexpensive
- Quick (even though the restaurant was full)
- Welcoming
These days, it's rare to find a restaurant like this.
Yet, watching them, everything seemed so easy for them.
That's exactly what we're looking for these days.

14/02/2026: After trying and approving the lunch menu, it was time to tackle the à la carte menu! And it was well worth it!
The shrimp ravioli soup was original and flavorful.
The scallop casserole with butter and garlic was delicious: the scallops were tender and still had their coral.
Special mention for their "Cuvée Indochine" wine, which perfectly complemented everything during this meal with a dear friend. The service was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive; they even gave me a few gifts with the bill. I'll gladly return!
03/01/2026: I love this restaurant and go there very often; I've never been disappointed. The food is truly excellent, everything is delicious and prepared with care. The service is quick, which is very much appreciated, especially when you don't want to wait long.
The welcome is simply delightful: the staff is smiling, warm, and very kind; you immediately feel at ease. The place is also incredibly charming, with a pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to come back.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality offered, which is a real plus. Honestly, it's a place I recommend without hesitation. A real gem!

17/07/2026: This is my second time eating here, both times without a reservation; the service was quick and efficient, provided by very welcoming waiters. The food is excellent, and the menu offers plenty of choice for prices around 20 euros per person.

25/03/2026: We didn't know the address and ate there at lunchtime to try it out.
For €18, I had four spring rolls as a starter, caramel pork with fried rice, and a dessert of caramelized pineapple and a scoop of ice cream. I've attached photos (the rice was mixed with the pork, but it actually arrived separately).
Overall, I thought it was good!
One star less because I have other, better places in mind, but no matter, this place is worth a visit.
I recommend making a reservation because it was packed.

The owner is very welcoming and helpful: at first I didn't want any sauce, but she convinced me and I don't regret it at all, it was delicious and beautifully presented. The ingredients seem to be of very high quality. I highly recommend it!
02/04/2026: Our favorite neighborhood restaurant, we mainly order sushi and it's excellent and fresh. The manager is lovely, go there without hesitation!

24/07/2026: Very disappointed, the food was tasteless and industrial.
14/07/2026: Having always heard very good things about this restaurant, which has been around for many years, I finally decided to try it today. What a disappointment!
Arriving at 12:15 pm, among the first customers, we waited an hour and a half before being served: one appetizer to share between two people and two main courses.
Furthermore, our dishes didn't arrive at the same time. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn't end with the service: one of the dishes was extremely salty, the rice was charged extra, and the salad was just a vermicelli salad.
I am very disappointed. I imagine this bad experience might be due to an internal organizational problem on this public holiday, but it doesn't make me want to try it again.
Finally, when I go to a restaurant, it's not to watch a football match broadcast on three screens with the sound at full volume. I go to a restaurant to have a pleasant and quiet time; otherwise, I go to a sports bar to watch the matches.

29/07/2026: We had lunch at La Bambouseraie on July 27, 2026.
The welcome was very average.
There were many empty tables.
Not ordering wine was frowned upon by the waiter. A glass of wine brought a semblance of a smile back to his face, and he made sure everyone knew it.
After that, his behavior became increasingly irritable.
He loudly reminded us that he had an appointment at 2:45 PM.
Other people were also asked to "hurry up"... He asked us what dessert we wanted... he practically decided that ice cream would be perfect, because he was getting more and more rushed!
The other waiter was just as friendly as him. "I go to pay..." at which point, things suddenly shifted into "supersonic."
We made our exit, thanking them and saying "goodbye."
There was no response because they were no longer in the dining room. We used to come here often when we lived in L'Union, and the service was provided by two charming women.
But that was then! Now the food is mediocre, and as for the atmosphere...no comment.
Avoid it at all costs!
