The chef is incredibly friendly and it's easy to chat with him while he prepares your meal.
The service is quick and friendly!
Two big pluses: it's about 20 meters from the train station and there's an open kitchen, so you can smell all the spices and seasonings. It really whets your appetite, making the dish taste even better!
In short! It's good, it's fast, it's well located, and it's inexpensive. Go for it!
15/12/2025: A good eatery with simple but effective cuisine. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff make this little restaurant a must-try for anyone passing through.

10/01/2026: Excellent food! The dishes are delicious and generous, not too greasy, made with fresh ingredients—I love it. The restaurant doesn't look like much, but the talent is definitely there. The welcome and service are perfect.
15/10/2025: This small restaurant in a rather unremarkable neighborhood is worth a visit, both for its food and its friendly service. The pho intrigued me, though I wasn't quite sure what to expect: slices of beef in the broth—surprising! But it was delicious, spicy but not overly so. The optional bean sprouts drizzled with lime juice are a perfect complement.
I then ordered the cuttlefish with fragrant mushrooms and Cantonese rice, which was also very good, and for dessert, the flambéed banana with rum (not very Asian, but still...). The background music wasn't unpleasant, but it was a bit repetitive.

21/11/2025: We discovered this little restaurant this evening; the meal was delicious and the staff very kind and welcoming. We will gladly return.
04/10/2025: A great discovery for me and my group. We were happy to discover the two menus offered at reasonable prices. Each dish we ordered was delicious. The staff is friendly too.
There's a bar area at the entrance for people who don't necessarily want to eat. Then, there's a room with tables for dining. This separation allows for different atmospheres where one doesn't interfere with the other.

13/02/2026: A wonderful discovery in Riom!
Excellent experience at Banme! Lisa's welcome alone is worth the trip: a contagious smile, good humor, and genuine kindness that immediately puts you at ease. She gave us excellent advice on the menu, and her recommendations were perfect. As for the food, we were in heaven! The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The spring rolls and egg rolls were perfectly crispy, the chicken curry was fragrant and generous, and the shrimp stir-fried with vegetables was perfectly cooked. The Cantonese rice was a delicious accompaniment to everything. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for quality Asian cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We'll be back!
13/02/2026: Why is this restaurant so expensive? You expect it to be excellent in return? Wrong. It's mass-produced food in disguise. With a few exceptions, and if you're even remotely a foodie, it's really not good at all... Keep walking, there are so many better options elsewhere!

08/02/2026: We ordered pho soup, but the noodles weren't cooked, and the soup was too greasy. We asked the woman to recook the noodles, but they went back in the microwave—inedible. If I had to, I'd give zero stars. We'll never go back.
13/01/2026: We had a very pleasant time at Kim Oanh restaurant. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the imperial beef was a generous portion. Excellent value for money.
