06/03/2026: La Flamme Gourmande is much more than a pizzeria; it's a very good restaurant, sometimes almost bistronomic, offering a variety of very high-quality dishes: foie gras, Périgord salad, ribeye steak, burgers... pizzas, everything is excellent... The setting is truly pleasant, comfortable, and cozy, and the service is professional and friendly. A sure bet in the region; reservations are recommended.
Update March 2025: Slightly down, exterior not very clean, broken chair on the terrace, but the food is still very good and the service is very professional.
27/02/2026: A wonderful discovery this evening for our last night in the Vosges. A beautiful and delicious restaurant; all nine of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent service, a friendly atmosphere, and great food. Everything was perfect, we highly recommend it.

05/04/2026: We've eaten at this restaurant several times and honestly, we have no complaints. Today, for Easter, we went back with our family. When we made the reservation, an Easter menu and the regular menu were offered. Upon arrival, there was no Easter menu. Surprised, we pointed this out and were told, "Yes, that's normal, given the event in the village, we changed it." The service wasn't great; there was no salt and pepper or peanuts for our aperitifs. We were given a small amount of Baden cheese from another table so it wouldn't go to waste. The fries weren't crispy and seemed reheated. The meal was more like a brasserie meal.
It's a shame for this type of restaurant, which used to be very nice, but is disappointing today.
01/04/2026: Disappointed by the extremely unfriendly service; we were promised tagliatelle for our meal but ended up with rice without being told. In short, very disappointed.

The pizzas are very good and well stocked.
22/08/2024: Messin on vacation in Gérardmer we found by chance this pretty little pizzeria.
The owner and the waitress are very welcoming and professional.
The pizzas are excellent and the choice is very varied. Very good ice cream and plentiful.
