24/06/2026: I had a terrible experience at Les Caves du Roi. I felt completely humiliated. When we tried to speak to the owner, his only response was that he couldn't do anything. We were eventually kicked out, even though we were a group of six friendly, respectful people who had simply come to have a good time and enjoy a drink. There are no security cameras inside the establishment, making it difficult to verify the facts. On the other hand, it seems that some people exhibiting inappropriate behavior, even drug-related, are tolerated, while decent and respectful customers are not. This experience was very disappointing, and we will not be returning.

12/05/2026: We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday at the Cave du Roi, booking the back room. The organization was top-notch, the staff professional, attentive, responsive, and took great care of us – it was perfect.

29/06/2026: I came to buy a machine last week. I was greeted by a tall man who was clearly training a young woman. From beginning to end, he was haughty and dismissive, making comments like, "You want to pay full price," and was incredibly bitter! I've never been treated like that; it's unacceptable! Considering the price we pay, the quality of service is mediocre. The only positive point was the barista, who was very friendly.

26/06/2026: Your employees lack professionalism; I order online more often, but here in the store, where are the greetings to customers, the personalized service of yesteryear? They're all just hanging out with each other, making jokes, staying in their own little circle, it's a bit of a shame.

12/06/2026: We are from Berlin and came to Versailles to visit the palace. We were running quite late and absolutely needed to buy some macarons to bring back home for our friends and family. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, all the shops in Paris would already have been closed, and here as well we only arrived shortly before closing time. The next morning, our flight back to Berlin was leaving very early. In other words, this was our last chance to get some macarons. And what can I say? We were not disappointed at all. Lisa was incredibly kind to us and spoke excellent English, which made the shopping experience and her recommendations very enjoyable. We even had time for a bit of small talk. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience! If we are ever in the area again, we would be very happy to come back and hope that Lisa is still there. Warm greetings from Berlin! 😊

17/05/2026: The tables are dirty. The restrooms: two-thirds were closed, the third was very dirty and had no toilet paper. I hope the kitchens are cleaner. The dishes are spotless and the service is friendly.

10/05/2026: Orders are OFTEN incomplete. One time it's the Happy Meal toy (nice for the kid), another time it's the sauces that were paid for, and now it's actually part of the meal! For example, I ordered a BBQ meal with BBQ fries (the famous ones that cost an extra €0.20!), they gave me a bag and the drink on the side (great for carrying the order... to go!), I get home, I open the bag and... Well, there's ONLY the sandwich! No fries, no BBQ powder! In short, from now on, even in a hurry, I'll check every single order since these mistakes keep happening! ...Or I'd go to the McDonald's in Versailles... Never had a problem at the ones on Place du Marché or Rive Gauche. Edit from May 10th: Today I bought a poster for 50 points... They forgot it, and since I was in a hurry with a tired child, I forgot to ask for it and threw away the receipt... Oh well, 50 points wasted. Can they even read an order receipt? :s

27/04/2026: This lovely store is well worth a visit. The staff is remarkably knowledgeable and helpful. Their products are all well-known, and the information they provide is relevant and will encourage you to choose this place if you're looking for a gift or simply want to treat yourself. I highly recommend it.
