VERY Authentic Sichuan food with great flavors! The Mao Xue Wang was delicious, rich, spicy, and perfect with rice. It really reminded me of home. The service was warm and friendly as well. I’ll definitely come back when I miss Chinese food!

Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Paris. My fiancé and I are still thinking about double cooked pork we had here a year ago! This will be our first restaurant when we visit in Paris again.

Duck blood! I thought I was back in Chongqing! The Sichuan-style rabbit with pickled peppers was amazing, definitely top-tier Chongqing street food. The pale green pickled peppers were edible, not spicy, but the dish itself was very spicy – you have to take a sip if you like spicy food! The cooking was very meticulous; the garlic slices were fresh, and you could tell they were added just before serving. The chef paid attention to detail! The boiled beef looked good, and the beef was of good quality. The chili peppers could be improved; they were slightly lacking in aroma. But that's nitpicking, and it's a bit unfair to compare it to high Chongqing standards. In Europe, it would definitely be top-tier! The service was excellent; the waiter was probably from Northeast China. He was warm and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Sichuan restaurant and come back again. Insanely authentic Sichuan spot—my friends literally thought I was back in Chongqing just from the pics! The duck blood is spot on, the wild pepper rabbit is next-level spicy with amazing chef details, and the water-boiled beef is easily top-tier for Europe. Service is also super warm and welcoming. Bottom line: this is absolutely authentic local flavor—skip it if you can't handle the heat! 100% recommend!

The three dishes we ordered were all quite delicious; we couldn't finish them, so we packed them up to take home.

Dao Restaurant has always been the top choice for Sichuan cuisine in Paris, and this time the boiled fish was as fragrant as ever, the Kung Pao shrimp was rich in flavor, and overall the meal was very satisfying.

I'd been hearing about this Sichuan restaurant from friends for ages, and I finally got to try it! The taste was authentic and the portions were huge. Highly recommend!
The duck was a perfect match for beer.
The rabbit was spicy and fragrant, and went great with rice.

Dao Restaurant has to be in my top 3. The Sichuan pepper fish is amazing, a must-order! The Qingting fish is also a signature dish, both are very good.
I saw everyone recommending the "Ken Yi Ken Ya" (a type of duck), so I tried it, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion was huge, four people couldn't finish it. There were lots of ingredients, and every variety was tasty. The stir-fried cabbage was also very fragrant.
The desserts tasted like home…quite authentic.
