This small, cosy neighbourhood restaurant is a good place to sample Nord-Pas de Calais regional dishes. We had the Carbonade Flamande and Andouillette, both meats locally sourced. The Andouillette was top quality with a lovely crispy outside and juicy offal inside. There is beer from local craft breweries and a fair choice of wines.

J’ai emmené mon père dans ce restaurant pour la fêtes des pères et quelle bonne surprise! C’était la première fois que j’y allais et j’ai vraiment adoré l’atmosphère. C’est un vrai estaminet avec des vrais spécialités du Nord. J’ai pris un jambonneau avec des frites maison et c’était délicieux et copieux! Pour le dessert, j’ai choisi un fondant en chocolat pour finir en beauté. Les plats sont fait maison et ça se voit en plus les prix sont très raisonnables surtout par rapport à la quantité et la qualité. Je recommande vivement et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

26/02/2025: your explanations for your closure are more than risky you know very well that the covid crisis plus the economic crisis plus the transformation of the Place d'Arme into a pedestrian zone which caused the surrounding businesses to lose 40% of their customers plus the closure of the Passage des Flanders on December 3 completed the disaster in just 3 months 10 license 4 establishments (bars bistros restaurants) closed for bankruptcy! in Valenciennes you are the 10th and everyone noted this so as not to incriminate the municipal team when it is the turn of the SET I wonder how you will react! note: responding to a dissatisfied customer the day before the permanent closure of the establishment that you are going to improve the table service is at the highest level!
