Excellent restaurant, one of the best in Calvi. We ate very well; they also offer vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly, the welcome was warm, and the setting is lovely with a beautiful view of the gulf. A sure bet in Calvi, remember to book! The only downside: the manager isn't bilingual in Dutch 😂!

We ordered four first courses (2 adults + 2 children). The quality was decent, but the pasta was a bit overcooked. The location is beautiful, with a panoramic terrace. The prices seem average, but I still can't believe how you can pay €6 for a liter of still water!

The food was very good, the staff were friendly and attentive. The location was very romantic with a sea view, and the wait was very short. Everything was very clean, except for the menu, which had tomato stains on ours. Overall, an excellent restaurant for my tastes!

Against all odds, a truly lovely moment on the terrace of this charming restaurant in the citadel! We had chosen another place, this one fully booked, but on our way back down, we stopped at La Candella! A beautiful plate of swordfish with pancetta, accompanied by an excellent, perfectly cooked ratatouille and small new potatoes, for one of us, and a lovely plate of spaghetti bisque and prawns for the other! Quality and quantity, a warm and attentive welcome, a Corsican family restaurant, and an incredible view! Go there! 🤩😉

During our visit to the Citadel of Calvi, we got a little peckish and wanted to take a break.
We saw that this restaurant offered a menu perfect for the afternoon.
The salad was both generous and delicious.
I discovered the Pietra, made with limoncello.
The waiter was incredibly attentive, very friendly and considerate.
At the end of May, we were alone on the terrace, enjoying the idyllic view of the Gulf of Calvi and the surrounding mountains, including the famous Monte Cinto.
We truly felt privileged.
I imagine that with such a setting, the restaurant must be packed during the peak summer season.
