A Casarella sur Bastia

Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the dessert, including the main course and the house cocktail. You can go there without hesitation!

Absolutely fantastic! The owner (both men and women) is incredibly welcoming. The dishes were delicious and generous. A truly excellent place. The restaurant is located uphill, but you can easily reach it by elevator. We had a wonderful evening.

Better than the neighbor's chez vincent

Excellent view of the sea and the old port. Professional and attentive waiter. Cocktails were nothing to complain about. Food-wise, the food was excellent, the portions perfect; we really enjoyed it. A bonus: the homemade fries without salt were very good (salt shaker at the table). We recommend it.

The meal was excellent, the dishes very well cooked with quality ingredients. The wine was good. Very good, warm, and efficient service. The terrace is intimate with a magnificent view.

We decided to have lunch in Bastia after exploring the citadel. The setting is beautiful, and the terrace's location offers a breathtaking view of the port. The waiters were welcoming and helpful, advising us on which tables to choose and which were available. We ordered burrata salads and burgers. The burgers were good; the steak wasn't the best, but that's probably due to the local supplier. The "burratas" weren't actually burratas—they were mozzarella! They're not the same thing, and neither is the price. After pointing this out to the waiter, he confirmed the mistake. It's not very pleasant to feel ripped off (especially when he claims to be changing the menu and doesn't...). The "long coffees" are more like espressos. There's no toilet paper in the restrooms; you have to ask for it... I had to ask for it.
