A unique place in Paris where we find the atmosphere and good food of our inns of yesteryear. I particularly recommend the terrine of the day and the chocolate cake.

Nice little restaurant with very friendly service. The dishes are rather meat annoying, but very tasty. I can't recommend fries otherwise everything else tasted really good. Reservation is necessary. The tables are very narrow.

The food was quite good except the wild hare. It was very chewy. Disappointed in the service. The owner is a large guy who yells orders at his staff in front of customers. He criticized a young server several times right in front of us for not giving us a spoon (when the poor server actually had done so) and for not asking us if we would like to order a post-meal coffee. The wife of the owner was not much better. They over charged us about 25 euros and corrected the mistake after we politely asked them to check our bill; however, they did not apologize. The owners both asked my partner on separate occasions if I speak French instead of addressing me directly.

Good value for money. Authentic bistro atmosphere. Small point of improvement on the cooking of meats not respected (overcooked) which makes it very small in addition. Big point for improvement: sitting facing the kitchen, I was very unpleasantly surprised when I observed one of the servers reloading his cheese platter from the fridge onto the tray with his bare hands. Then to be climbed on the same counter by putting his foot down to retrieve a tin pot placed on a shelf at the top.

“Practically perfect in every way.” This is the best bistro in Paris and it’s not close. The service is phenomenal! I don’t speak a word of French and everyone one was so helpful and made great recommendations for someone who was visiting Paris for the first time. The food is amazing but by far the best dish is the coq au vin. Last but not least everything is very affordable. I got an appetizer entree dessert wine and coffee all under 50 Euros! I will return soon hungry for more.

03/04/2024: Lovely little restaurant very close to the Eiffel Tower. Very pleasant staff who were kind to me whilst I was trying to say things in French 😄 Food was exceptional. We had scallops to start, salmon for main. I would have preferred my rice pudding hot but other than that it was a really lovely meal and lovely cosy atmosphere! Would definitely recommend. Reasonably priced too 😊
17/03/2024: 3 courses: appetizer, main, and dessert. Each has plenty of options to choose from. All of the dishes, including the desserts, are elaborate and delicious. The restaurant has the atmosphere of a Parisian bistro. Since it was the weekend, the store was full. The only problem was that the distance between the tables was narrow, and perhaps due to poor ventilation, the atmosphere felt stale if you stayed for a long time when the place was full.

17/03/2024: Heartwarming welcome. The menu offers little choice but with beautiful products. Very good cuisine and impeccable service.
09/03/2024: Everything was perfect ! The welcome, the little touches, but also and above all the cuisine: excellent, refined and well orchestrated. We will come back for sure! Come there hungry: it’s plentiful! The cards sometimes do not have exhaustive descriptions so don’t hesitate to ask questions 😊
