My first time here at lunchtime. A warm welcome, a very pleasant setting. The staff are kind and smiling, which makes the visit all the more enjoyable. The dishes we had were excellent, refined, visually stunning, and also delicious. I highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant. The dishes are well-presented and of very good quality. The bartender was very pleasant, and the cocktails were good. One small drawback: when taking our order, the young waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu.

The food was generous and plentiful. It's a shame that some customers at lunchtime acted like they were in a school cafeteria! We were subjected to shouting, a girl banging on her table, another singing "Dora the Explorer," and a guy who didn't want to disturb these people ended up making a 45-minute phone call just 50 cm from our table! In short, a very unpleasant experience.

Another wonderful meal at La Place restaurant in Montargis. Linguine with wild morels followed by a chocolate fondant. 🥰🥰 A very good place to eat!

11/07/2026: So, overall, good/very good value for money. As for the food, I only ordered one dish; it was quite good, a bit too garlicky for my taste, and the vegetables were already getting cold when it was served. I'm not sure, but I think the plates weren't reheated. Aside from that, the meat was cooked as ordered, and they made an effort with the presentation. The service itself was good, but unfortunately, I had ordered a Pinot Noir with the meal, and it wasn't served until I reminded them. Mistakes happen. Apart from this "incident," everything was fine with the service, and the waiters were pleasant. The atmosphere is more restaurant than brasserie, although if I understood correctly, they have a "brasserie bar" area without food service, so that's something to consider. In any case, the "restaurant" area is large, with mirrors everywhere, and quite nice. All in all, I'd give it a 16/20.
