Very good restaurant, well-prepared ingredients and excellent cuisine

A great place to eat good meat. I recommend the spider steak. The Paris-Brest is excellent. Everything is delicious! The terrace is very pleasant; I can't wait for summer!

A return… 50 years later. For my birthday, and back in Alsace, we returned to L’Abattoir, the restaurant where we got married last century. Traditional and succulent dishes, good food in the purest Alsatian tradition. A warm smile and a tender, delicate gesture with two glasses of champagne for our reunion. A wonderful lunch in every sense of the word: atmosphere, quality of the food. A wine list with very reasonable prices. An owner who loves his work and a wife with a big heart. A successful romantic evening: mission accomplished ✔️ My partner had a very specific obsession: to eat bone marrow. Mission accomplished and more than validated. For my part, I indulged in an absolutely delicious cordon bleu: incredibly melty cheese, tender meat, perfect breading… in short, pure bliss with every bite (and no desire to share). The lamb my partner chose was cooked to perfection, to the point of making him forget his initial obsession (that's saying something). Add to that a cozy atmosphere, impeccable service and a meal that went off without a hitch: what more could you ask for? An excellent place where you eat well, receive a warm welcome, and where even the most specific cravings are catered for 😄 I'll definitely be back!

Excellent meat and offal restaurant located outside of Strasbourg's city center, in a former slaughterhouse. Frequented mostly by locals, it serves excellent dishes. We had excellent foie gras, a very good mushroom terrine, and a proper boiled meat. Recommended
