A very pleasant welcome, everyone was smiling, the dining room is truly original, the service impeccable, and the food a delight: superb veal andouillette... an absolutely perfect iced verbena dessert... the value for money is excellent... we were passing through Le Puy-en-Velay and I'm so glad I chose L'Écu d'Or... thank you to the whole team and congratulations on the quality of your work.

In fact, there's nothing to complain about: everything was perfect! The food was excellent and the value for money unbeatable (24 euros for a starter, main course, and dessert, including an amuse-bouche), the service was incredibly efficient, warm, and friendly, and the vaulted stone dining room was magnificent. A truly memorable experience that should serve as an example to many restaurants! I can't wait for my next trip to Le Puy to go back.

Highly recommended restaurant for its cuisine, service, and ambiance. I chose this place to end a week on the Camino de Santiago with a group of eight women.
Everything was excellent, with good quality ingredients and a pleasant atmosphere.

L'Ecu d'Or was recommended to us by a shopkeeper in the town center. And we don't regret our choice! A very warm welcome, excellent service, a charming setting (the restaurant is located in a former chapel), and delicious local dishes. Highly recommended!

One of the best restaurants in Le Puy!
Very warm atmosphere, lovely decor with a fresco on the walls. Pleasant and top-notch service.
Everything is delicious, but what truly stands out is the foie gras and morel mushroom casserole and the verbena parfait 😋... A place to remember!
