27/05/2026: Dinner on Monday evening after four days of hiking – a well-deserved reward. An excellent experience with superb cuisine in a lovely setting (a beautiful vaulted room) and very pleasant service. I loved the foie gras and porcini mushroom casserole, the lamb shank was fantastic, as was the Pina Colada dessert. My friend adored her pork tenderloin (I almost regretted not ordering it). For once, the desserts looked tempting and clearly homemade. A wonderful discovery was the Auvergne AOP wine. Congratulations on your work. I highly recommend it.

19/04/2026: We had dinner at La Table 1924, the restaurant at the Hôtel Regina in Le Puy, to celebrate my sister's 25th birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The dishes were delicious, expertly prepared, and served in generous portions. Everything was perfectly executed, from the presentation to the service. The decor is particularly elegant and adds a great deal of charm to the place, making the experience even more enjoyable. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. We were seated at a table a little off to the side, which allowed us to fully enjoy the moment in a calm and convivial atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will gladly return.

The concept is really appealing, the setting is equally charming, and both the chef and the waitstaff are attentive and welcoming. Many regional and seasonal products are used in the menu, from aperitif to dessert. A great place not to miss if you're in Le Puy-en-Velay, for around €70 including an aperitif and wine pairing.
