A l'Etoile sur Merkwiller-Pechelbronn

We ate some amazing tarte flambée.

The restaurant has several dining rooms, and the wait for our food was a bit long; the waitresses seemed overwhelmed by the daily specials. The vegetable soup with mushrooms was very good, as was the rest of the meal. The desserts were excellent: the floating island with plenty of custard and the generously filled blueberry tart.

The daily special and dessert were perfectly acceptable: €15. Drinks were reasonably priced. Service was decent. Good atmosphere. No reviews for the rooms.
