A warm welcome, a wonderful atmosphere, a superbly stocked wine cellar where you could choose your own wines, and even better food. In short, a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I'd go back anytime.

Great atmosphere, good food, and a lovely wine cellar. The service has declined and used to be better. What I find completely unacceptable is Esther's behavior. We had reserved a table for 7 pm and arrived around 6:45 pm. However, we were asked to leave because they weren't ready yet. Okay, I can understand that. In other restaurants, they would have offered us something to drink and let us sit down. (The restaurant was completely empty, and the tables were set.) We left. Other guests arrived five minutes after us and were allowed to sit down and weren't asked to leave. That's completely unacceptable to me. It doesn't help if she calls us back in just before 7 pm.

It's always a pleasure to come to Esther and Thomas's place; you can book your table with your eyes closed.
