We had lunch here before flying back to Italy.

A fantastic restaurant we stumbled upon completely by chance during our walk, and what a surprise!
A warm welcome, authentic cuisine, and Marc was incredibly attentive and charming!

A charming little restaurant, discovered by chance during our visit to Bastia.
The owner is incredibly attentive to his customers.
We tried the zucchini carbonara, while the children had pizzas—everything was perfect! A little taste of Italy while waiting for the ferry back to Belgium.

A tana is an extraordinary place, just like its owner and chef, Carlo, a Livorno native at heart and on the plate.
We dined outside, on a narrow street closed to traffic, with a pleasant, cool breeze caressing us throughout the evening.
Carlo told us about his dishes and recommended the wine of memory (a Negramaro riserva, very much appreciated).
We were pampered from start to finish, a wine we wished would never arrive. But tomorrow we have a ferry to catch, and we had to say goodbye early.
During dinner, we chatted and laughed heartily with another Italian couple, and it was great fun.
What can I say... A beautiful, beautiful evening. Thanks Carlo, we'll have to return to Bastia!

Just steps from the Old Port, yet light years away from its commercial restaurants. A small, authentic, and welcoming restaurant, in true Tuscan style, serving excellent seafood starters. Prices are average for the island, but more than justified by the quality. We'll be back!
