Agneau Blanc sur Beblenheim

A wonderful discovery! We first came here by chance and now we return very regularly because we love the food. 🙂

On our trip to Switzerland, we stopped in Beblenheim and discovered the Auberge A l'Agneau Blanc. We dined outside in beautiful weather, which was wonderful. The owner, mentioned in the reviews, is indeed the heart and soul of the place; her staff are a distant second. Choosing what to eat was easy (it was still asparagus season), and the owner's wine recommendation (go for the Muscat, fruity on the palate and dry on the finish) was absolutely perfect. We inquired about the wine supplier. On our way home, we visited this winemaker and took the opportunity to return to the restaurant. The result was the same as last time: warm service and superb food. This restaurant is definitely always worth a visit.

Nice and good restaurant. An extensive menu as well as chef's suggestions. This time, it was a number of dishes with asparagus. My wife went for the 3-course menu *Frícheur*. An asparagus soup as a starter, a piece of grilled salmon with grilled asparagus as the main course, and Tiramisu with fruit for dessert. I myself chose an *assiette crudité*, filet de bœuf, and a tarte feuillettée aux fraises. Between the starter and the main course, we also had a rosé sorbet. The wine list, as one would expect in the Alsace region, was very extensive. We restrained ourselves and limited ourselves to a glass of white Alsatian Pinot Blanc. The food was good and flavorful. The presentation was beautiful. The service was correct and friendly. Explanations of the menu were given in English. We sat in the garden, and this was a cozy and beautiful place to eat. We thought the restaurant was good, and the food was certainly worth the price. When we paid, the owner was kind enough to enthusiastically tell us about a little shop across the street where she sells all kinds of handmade items. Since we were leaving the next day, we didn't go back there.

We celebrated my partner's 40th birthday at this establishment (I booked on May 11th for Saturday, May 23rd). There were 11 of us (7 adults and 4 children). A large table was set up for us in a private room. The children could play in a separate area without disturbing the rest of the restaurant. Without us even asking, aside from candles, the owners (Elisabeth and David) had prepared some thoughtful touches and surprises. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and a special mention goes to the non-alcoholic cocktail made with a local dealcoholized wine. We have nothing but praise for this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Yes, if it weren't for the boss, her dedication and loving manner would be fantastic – everything would be top-notch. Unfortunately, the team isn't very motivated. The food, the kidneys, was good, but they were cooked a bit too long and were slightly tough. The outdoor area was a bit too cold; it lacks the boss's warm touch.

A wonderful experience, a lovely shaded terrace, and very pleasant staff. Beautifully presented dishes made with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended – a great find! Keep up the good work!
