Anyone wanting to step back in time to the Middle Ages will find this place perfect. The house, dating from 1569, has been nicely modernized inside. The steep staircase to the second floor is a bit of an adventure. The TV with four German channels is unusual in France. Overall, it's a charming and quaint place to stay. Finding a parking spot was a bit of a hassle. Breakfast is simple but satisfactory. We'll definitely be back.

Incredible! Charming, romantic, and well-located accommodation, and of course, excellent service. They also have a restaurant with a wood-fired oven and make spectacular tarte flambées. The breakfast with local products was a highlight. The croissants with jam were amazing, as were the cheeses, butter, and charcuterie in general. We will definitely be back! Nice local style historical house with clean, warm and big rooms. Nice location to travel around by car, bicycle or for hiking. Good breakfast.

An institution on the wine route!

We spent one night there; the room was very pleasant, the owner very friendly, the breakfast consisted of excellent fresh, high-quality products, and the lady was very kind. The only slight drawback was that it wasn't easy to find a parking space. But we will be back to try the tarte flambée.

And the best thing that could have happened to us on this trip was staying at this hotel and restaurant, with its incredible charm. An authentic Alsatian house with classic decor, we slept wonderfully and had dinner in its restaurant. I loved it, I would recommend it, and I would return.

The wine cellar and the servers were very pleasant.

The entrance wasn't easy to find, located in a courtyard, but it was beautifully decorated with a fountain, Christmas decorations, a pond with goldfish, etc. Friendly welcome. Alsatian atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The restaurant offers tarte flambée and other regional products. Perfect, we came to eat local food. Not too many local desserts. Tarte flambée with Munster cheese was a generous portion! The flavor was a bit bland. We wanted to order two portions of fries, but the waiter advised us to order only one—a thoughtful gesture, as we didn't even finish the first one! Thank you. For dessert, we had apple cinnamon tart flambéed with Calvados, again very generous! It was hard to finish it all. In conclusion: it's definitely an Alsatian restaurant; it's good, nothing more, but the portions are very generous and the staff is friendly. We had a good time.
