Aiguille du Midi - Le 3842 sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

We ended our excursion to the Aiguille du Midi with the cafeteria… extraordinary view but terrible service - the lady who took orders and prepared the drinks was unpleasant, even though there were no crowds and I think I was polite and friendly to… maybe one day without…

We went there without a reservation because the day before we had been told that even going to the needle could have been complicated... But we were very lucky, we were able to go up, we had a place in the restaurant and it was frankly very good. Very well served, you can choose to have by the glass or by the 37.5cl or 75cl bottle... Thanks to the waitress who was very nice as well as the cook (very good cooking) We had a great time and had a good laugh, we met Americans and people from Grenoble from Bailleul (they will recognize each other 😉) It was a wonderful moment because it was to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday... Thank you again.

Restaurant allowing you to extend the high altitude experience. Small restaurant to be reserved in advance, menu limited to 3 courses. Very good.

They made a really nice restaurant up there, the service is great and the food excellent, although the menu lacks vegetarian options. We would have loved to have a fondue but they didn't serve it at the time we went.

Be careful, very small restaurant so don't forget to book before coming The dishes were very good. But on the other hand, no attention even when we warn about allergies... A bit of a shame.

The setting is magnificent, pleasant waitresses, very good food. The capacity was enough knowing that we lacked oxygen, I was bloated and out of breath. I recommend.

The dishes are very good, but if you can go to the cafeteria it is cheaper. We didn't want to wait in line and wanted to enjoy our first time here.

L'ambiance est magnifique avec une vue folle. La focaccia au pesto était bonne mais trop salé (pesto, jambon cru, tomate séchée) 10€ la focaccia... Mais vous aurez le mérite d'avoir pris un sandwich dans le snack le plus haut d'Europe 😋

Je garderai un incroyable souvenir de ce repas... ce n'est pas tout les jours que l'ont peut manger à une si haute altitude, de si bon plats avec une vue imprenable! Le temps s'était littéralement arrêté.
