Aintzina isn't one of the most refined restaurants in the Basque Country, but it's a simple and well-located spot in Espelette.
The service is pleasant and efficient. The Basque specialties are good and flavorful, with pronounced tastes. An unpretentious place, but still a pleasant one for a simple meal in Espelette.

First time in Espelette, and this restaurant was just like the village itself! Welcoming staff, a very warm atmosphere, and above all, delicious dishes and desserts typical of the Basque Country!
We came as a group of girls and we all had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

Excellent meal, very friendly and smiling waiter. It was a shame a group with children arrived, making it quite noisy and even causing an argument. Despite this, we had a wonderful time. Thank you, we will be back. Don't hesitate to go, but be aware that it's best to book in advance. If I had to make one positive suggestion, three peanuts and three cookies with the aperitif would be a nice touch. Thank you.
