The trip took place today, August 7th. A friendly welcome. You get what you pay for: a 2-hour 10-minute trip to Biarritz and its lighthouse, for a 25-euro ticket. Honestly, it's fantastic; you learn a few things, and on the way back, you're lulled by local folk music. There was a bit of a current, so the boat tended to rock; don't eat beforehand. Some people were sick, but the crew had everything they needed. 🤣

Spanish cruise. A 1.5-hour boat trip along the Basque coast from St. Jean de Luz to Hendaye, with a U-turn in the Spanish port area. The scenery is magnificent, and your questions will be answered and explained. Be careful in rough seas; seasickness can quickly overwhelm you.

12/08/2025: What a pleasure it was to eat at this place. We greatly appreciated the welcome every time we came. The announcement of the restaurant's closure was a real heartbreak. It will be very difficult to find such a charming restaurant with such good value for money. Happy retirement, chef, and see you soon.

25/01/2026: The architecture alone is worth a visit to this restaurant. The friendly welcome from a waitress who seems to have borrowed her favorite painter's white overalls will lead you into the cider house, which we'll definitely be back to try. The lunch we recently had showcased a well-prepared selection of classic dishes, which could be complemented by pot-au-feu, herring with potatoes in oil, or calf's head with gribiche or ravigote sauce. Everything was good, but when I order steak tartare, I prefer to prepare it myself! Hygiene is no excuse. We recommend it.
11/01/2026: Dinner for 7 on a Saturday night. Efficient service. Tasty and very generous portions. The omelets and meat were cooked perfectly.
