I recommend the exotic sundae...it's amazing. The homemade ice cream is truly delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it. We hadn't made a reservation and waited 5 minutes because the friendly waitress didn't want to seat us in the direct sunlight. A gem that deserves 5/5, despite what the complainers say—they'd be much better off cherishing their local heritage instead of tearing it down.

It's a real challenge to find a better artisan ice cream maker! An institution and by far the most delicious ice cream in the region!! The vanilla is simply incredible!! And for those who are quick to criticize, at least take the time to research the place before rushing to your phone to post all your negative reviews....

I visit the store about four or five times a year (I don't live nearby), and there are always lots of ice cream flavors out of stock. It's understandable, especially in the summer, but it's almost the same in the winter. The products are very good quality. However, the cashier's friendliness needs improvement. I'm told that the shortages are "normal" because restaurant customers have priority. In short... prioritizing customers isn't very classy in the retail business.

It's a real shame they don't offer tastings. Of course, it's impossible to open a hundred tubs of ice cream, but they could offer a variety of flavors each week. I would have loved to try the lemon Schweppes and chocolate ice cream (2.5L tub, and what if you don't like them?). The saleswoman wasn't very cheerful or friendly. We came all the way from Colmar, it's not exactly next door...we could have bought so much more.

The terrace was packed, so we were seated in the sun, and when a table became available in the shade, we asked to change tables… the waitress refused, saying they don't do table changes, so we stayed in the sun. Apparently, it's possible for other people, but not for us; it must be my imagination…

24/09/2026: The young waiter's reprimand in front of us could have been handled in the back room. We're not here to witness conflicts. And then there was his lack of empathy for my allergies. Sorry, it's even harder not being able to eat anything. This was my second visit to this restaurant, and it was still a pleasant experience. The setting is contemporary, bright, and very inviting. The cuisine showcases Alsatian traditions, notably with an excellent vol-au-vent served with spaetzle. The non-alcoholic "Purple" mocktail is subtle in flavor but enjoyable. I also appreciated the small appetizers offered with the aperitif—simple but very tasty. If you're a fan of offal, take advantage of your visit to try the veal kidneys in Pinot Noir with spaetzle. I found them excellent, with a flavor reminiscent of liver. To finish, the Mont Blanc ice cream sundae with chestnut cream was excellent and a perfect ending to the meal.
