A must-try in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue! The rib steak was excellent, and the service was perfect and friendly. Based on the reviews I've read, I think the owner's friendliness is directly proportional to the friendliness of his customers… the owner is there to serve you quality food, not to excel at communication, and that's a good thing! If you love good meat, go there without hesitation!

Restaurant with a shaded and misted terrace, very popular, especially on market days. Good salads and dishes served by the children this Sunday; the somewhat gruff owner taking orders contrasts sharply with the cheerful and friendly wife... the tipping terminal wasn't working that day...

The owner is not very pleasant, rushed, pushes you to buy things, and the Chef's mussels have no taste, no appeal, and are expensive for what they are.

The food was ok, not good enough to put up with the husband's attitude and overall grumpy personality. The wife was a ray of sunshine. If he stayed in the kitchen and left her as the server they would have much higher ratings.

Unfortunately, very disappointed… we ate the burger there (€19) and if it weren't for the bun, we would have thought it was just a regular McDonald's hamburger… The fries were okay, but you also have to pay extra for that one tablespoon of sauce… What a shame, we were really expecting more!

A very good experience at this unique bar-restaurant in the south of France. The atmosphere is great, the service is quick, and the portions are decent. I highly recommend it.

12/08/2026: The setting is obviously incredible. However, €28 for a tartare that wasn't even hand-cut, not even prepared, just minced meat placed in the middle of the plate... I find that really expensive.

Le Cafe De La Sorgue

31/07/2026: Lunch was à la carte. A lovely plate of octopus with vegetables. Tasty, generous portions. I also had the steak tartare, which was well prepared. Pleasant staff. I recommend it.
28/07/2026: A very pleasant little break in a bucolic setting. Excellent service.
