The waitress was very friendly and efficient, but the value for money wasn't necessarily there. The owner's welcome was very distant (I think he wasn't happy with his job).

I'm giving 4 stars for the service because the waitress was lovely and very friendly. I can't say the same for the owner. I don't understand this attitude from a business owner. The fish and chips were good, and the fries were too. However, charging extra for sauces is outrageous! It's written on the menu, but they don't mention it when you order, so be careful. The atmosphere isn't very appealing. It's expensive for what it is. You're paying for the location. We ended up having dessert elsewhere.
To answer the owner, we've been to several restaurants that brought us homemade aioli free of charge with our meals because, no, we're not fans of store-bought sauces. But business is business in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The service was impeccable. There was no wait between courses.
I admit the burger wasn't huge for the price, but the quality was definitely there.
We all enjoyed our meal very much.

A must-try in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue!
The rib steak was excellent, and the service was perfect and friendly.
Based on the reviews I've read, I think the owner's friendliness is directly proportional to the friendliness of his customers… the owner is there to serve you quality food, not to excel at communication, and that's a good thing!
If you love good meat, go there without hesitation!

Restaurant with a shaded and misted terrace, very popular, especially on market days. Good salads and dishes served by the children this Sunday; the somewhat gruff owner taking orders contrasts sharply with the cheerful and friendly wife... the tipping terminal wasn't working that day...

The food was ok, not good enough to put up with the husband's attitude and overall grumpy personality. The wife was a ray of sunshine. If he stayed in the kitchen and left her as the server they would have much higher ratings.
