Alpage de L'herney sur Cordon

It’s all about the simple things in life: the short hike up the mountain, the beautiful setting and sweeping views, our dog running across the hills with the kids, and the crunch of warm potato beignets with eggs and Beaufort.

We loved eating at the Herney mountain pasture. Everything was magnificent: the walk to get there, the environment, the quality of the food as well as the breathtaking view of Mont Blanc! We would do it again!

A real favorite in Cordon! L'Alpage de l'Herney is the ideal place for an authentic mountain break: breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, simple and delicious dishes, and a warm, family atmosphere. The short climb (about 30 minutes) is perfect for working up an appetite, but you can also book a buggy (€5/person) for an effortless ride. The extra that makes all the difference: a swing and a slide behind the chalet, perfect for keeping the kids entertained while parents enjoy the view.

The Herney platter was very good, the setting incredible, the refuge magnificent and the welcome superb.

Flawless experience.. limited menu, but everything is good. Bravo. Have a big cold beer and look at the Mt Blanc
