While visiting Lyon, we stopped at this little establishment. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the owners are incredibly kind, and the food is both hearty and delicious :) We would definitely return!! We highly recommend it!!

We were looking for a nice place to eat well, and we came to the right place. The gentleman was very welcoming. It's ideal for enjoying a fondue, a raclette, or Mont d'Or cheese, which was our choice, and it was excellent. I highly recommend it. This is the kind of little restaurant that's missing in our area (19). Elise & Loic

We were looking to enjoy a fondue on a Sunday evening. Luckily, Alter Ego was open and managed to find us a table for two even though we hadn't made a reservation. The porcini mushroom fondue was divine, and the service was pleasant and perfectly met our expectations. A truly delicious experience. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back!

A dinner for 10 people. The fondues were plentiful and of superb quality. The atmosphere was very warm and relaxed. Extremely pleasant. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic find! The smoked raclette was delicious, the cheese of remarkable quality. The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. We had a wonderful time, just like a homemade raclette. We'll definitely be back!

30/04/2026: As a long-time customer of this fantastic Italian deli, I was recently a little disappointed by the welcome from the young saleswoman, who, while very professional, was rushed and somewhat cold. When it's the owner, it's a different story. This doesn't detract from the quality and selection of the products (it's just a shame the Parma ham wasn't very well cured). They're victims of their own success, and there's always a queue for lunch, which perhaps explains the incredibly fast service.
20/12/2025: Eggplant parmesan that melts in your mouth, arancini that awakens the taste buds, an addictive truffle pecorino, not to mention the exceptional limoncello desserts—the selection is divine and varied! This caterer offers a wide choice for vegetarians like us, and the advice is always spot-on. A very warm welcome and a truly Italian atmosphere! Also a great place for our holiday meals and gifts! Grazie mille Sonia e Alessandro!!!
