Amelia Canta sur Saint-Emilion

It was absolutely delicious! I don't understand why so many reviews mention bland food and small portions: from appetizers to dessert, everything was perfectly done.

Nicely presented food. But the steak could have been a wee bit more tender. Omelet was delicate, salmon was delicious, and wine was good.

We came on a Sunday evening. We started with rillettes: good, but clearly not enough toast (only a few small pieces for a whole jar meant to be shared between two). We had to supplement with bread from the basket, which was a shame. Next, we had a "Venus" galette (ham, cheese, egg). It was decent, nothing special, accompanied by a bagged salad that didn't add much. At €13, it's a good option, but nothing memorable. I also ordered a Coke Zero, served in a glass with very little taste and almost no bubbles—to the point where I wondered if it was even Coca-Cola. At the time, I preferred not to mention it, as it can sometimes be tiresome to have to point out these kinds of things. But I'm taking the time to write this review here afterward, especially since I like to leave reviews, whether positive or negative—even if, this time, it's rather mixed to negative. We finished with a coffee. Overall, the prices are reasonable, but the quality is fairly average. The restaurant is well located, on a pleasant, clean, and rather pretty square. It's worth noting, however, that the service was friendly and welcoming. That said, since we were just passing through for a quick meal, we didn't have much interaction. All in all, it's a convenient option, but not a must-try.

The food was excellent! Duck foie gras salad, beef Bordeaux, and perfect macaroons. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Much better than most other places on our trip. Highly recommend!

The welcome was excellent, and the waiter was very good. But the portions... they were very, very small. Admittedly, we're not from around here, but they were really tourist-sized portions. A shame.

We've eaten and had drinks at Amelia Canta several times when visiting Saint Emilion. It's easily accessible amidst all the activity in town. It's a restaurant and bar with a simple menu, but it offers everything you need to refresh yourself and enjoy a good meal. They have beer and drinks for children.

I didn't like the glass of house wine they had. But the place has a nice view. Didn't eat.

The food was awesome, the prices are not high at all and the portion was big enough. The staff are very nice and also they speak english . If you are here around and looking for a restaurant, that would be the perfekt restaurant 😋
